After using this for the last few weeks I can say it's one of the best balms I've tried so far. I like my old brand, it softened my beard and gave it a nice shine but offered little control of stray hairs. Midway through the day my beard would look messy. I decided to try this one based on the ingredient list. It seemed to have more in it than some of the other balms out there. So far I've been very happy with it. I didn't get as much shine, but I did get a nice natural and healthy look. It takes care of strays nicely and I found my beard looks well groomed throughout the day. Your beard will feel softer and if you have any itchiness, this will take care of it. The scent is hard to describe. It doesn't smell like anything in particular. I suppose it smells like a bunch of oils and butters would smell if you mixed them all together. I like it. It's what a clean beard should smell like. You can use an oil beforehand if you prefer a different scent. I decided I didn't need an oil with this balm. It does everything I need it to.

Superb at its job, while also smelling fantastic. I wanted to hug myself every time I got a whiff.
This product is great on all levels! From the packaging and design, to how it is made, to how it goes on your beard, how it makes your beard feel and smell, and the overall shine and appearance of my beard. It goes on very easily, a nice buttery texture that warms up easily in the palm of your hands, (similar to the Honest Amish beard balm) it goes on smoothly, leaves my beard feeling soft, manageable, and smelling great. The scent is strong and manly, but not too strong or overbearing. It also does not leave your beard feeling greasy. I have a year beard that is very thick and some what curly, this makes combing out tangles and knots a simple task. I love how local ingredients are used in the making of this product, from a local coffee shop to local bees wax. Great product, great design and overall look of the design, excellent results!!
I would recommend trying a tin of the beard grease, if your results are anywhere close to mine, I'm certain it won't be your last tin!
I won a tub of The Beardsmith Grease in a contest several months back. My beard has just reached a length as to where i could use it. This product is FANTASTIC! The smels os unlike anyother beard tamer out there, very manly! My wife loves how it makes my beard so soft and gives it that healthy shine! I only wish that their moustache putty was on here so i could get some! My 'stache is getting quite long and i'd love to try another Beardsmith product!

This stuff is the bomb! It totally tamed my beard and really brought a good, healthy shine into it. It's got a nice cedary, manly smell. I would recommend for any man wanting to get their out of control beard unser control.
I love the smell. Texture is great. It doesn't make the beard look greasy. They even threw in a cool sticker. Great stuff. I will probably buy more.
