This product has brought me so much peace. I’ve had seborrheic dermatitis for years now and when I first tried a head and shoulders product, I enjoyed everything but the fact that my hair always felt super dry after using it. Due to that, I stopped using head and shoulders.

My scalp, however, remained unbelievably dry and patchy so after years of not using head and shoulders, I searched online for medicated shampoo for natural hair and voila, I was lead back to the same brand. This line, however, TRULY caters to natural hair. I bought the entire collection and I use it all to its entirety. I alter between the cowash and the shampoo/conditioner every two weeks. I use the masque every time I wash and I use the relief cream every time I flat twist my hair (twice a week). Everything smells lovely and my hair is unbelievably soft every time I use this. Prior to using this collection, I was washing my hair weekly since my scalp couldn’t go much longer, but now, I can go two weeks and my scalp gives me no problems!! It feels wonderful to have a normal scalp! This head and shoulders collection has replaced all my cantu and shea moisture shampoos. If any natural gal has severe seborrheic dermatitis or uncontrollably dandruff, I strongly recommend this line. I pray that this collection never discontinues.

So I tried this because I have dry hair and I also deal with dandruff. Previously I would wash my hair and by day 3, my scalp would already be flaking up. I used this line and I didn't see any flakes in between my wash days!!! My hair was a bit dry after the first use so I decided to pair this with aussie moist 3 min miracle and it's the perfect combination.

Saw An Immediate difference from my first use of this product. For about 2 months my scalp was abnormally and extremely dry and flaky... After one use, I noticed a visible difference. I don't normally write reviews, but this line of products is the real deal! I Definitely will be purchasing again

....because my hair is the BOMB DOT COM. I'll never use another conditioner again. Well, at least not until Head & Shoulders decides to piss me off and stop making it.

I've used Head and Shoulder products in the past. I especially like the Deep Moisture Conditioner, it allows me to easily detangle my 3c-4a hair type while in the shower. I've also used the Moisture Care Scalp Soother too. When I found out that there was a line specifically targeted towards black hair care I wanted to try it. The Scalp Cream is water based with the second ingredient being coconut oil. I expected to see glycerin listed but it is not. My scalp favors glycerin. I prefer this product over the Scalp Soother because it is not runny nor does it smell strongly of alcohol. I found that the Scalp Soother was drying to my hair even though it worked on my scalp. This is TOTALLY different. I am guilty of reading reviews and not taking a chance on a product simply because it didn't work well for someone else who might have different body chemistry than me. Therefore, I suggest to at least give this product a chance. You might have to apply it a little more often than once a day, but it does soothe and hydrates. After first use I could tell that I would like this product and will re-order very soon.

Actually pretty impressed by this. I’ve been using the almond H&S for years now and thought it made my hair and scalp super soft and easy to manage. After only one wash with this set, my hair has been soft, and those obnoxious ponytail/braid/bun bumps I get in my hair after work disappear in like, an hour! I love that! I’ve always hated how my hair kept getting weird wavy spots even though it’s mostly straight, but I haven’t even touched my flat iron since I bought this stuff.

I don’t regret buying this one bit. It smells really good, is ultra moisturizing and detangles my curls effortlessly. I wish this product was on the market sooner. I’ve been using the head & shoulders regular conditioner for years, in addition to other natural hair conditioners, but now I just use this one and get the same results. I have thick, curly hair and this product was able to handle it all. I look forward to trying the rest of the hair care line.

I really like this product. Works great and I highly recommend it. I find it gets my hair cleaner than other co-wash products and leaves my thick hair soft and manageable.

- It lost a star because the bottle I received did NOT have a pump which makes using it a real bummer.

The product is quite thick, which makes it hard to get out of the bottle without a pump. They compounded the problem by providing only a narrow flip-top lid, making it precarious to stand the bottle upside-down in order to allow the product to run down to the "working" end.

This product is great. It really helps my itch scalp during the week before my weekend wash. I also use it while my hair is braided and it helps there also.

I have very curly hair and also have pretty significant dandruff. It was always hard for me to decide whether to cater to my curls or promote a healthy scalp. This is what I've been waiting for. My hair is hydrated and my scalp is flake free... get this after ONE use. I'm so in love with this product.

My baby has sever eczema and like most parents I was on a search for something to relive my little one's pain. I'd like to start by saying that this is the most reliable company that I have purchased emu oil from ever. Their website is filled with information about their product. They were quick to respond to an e-mail. I had some eczema on my hand. But then three days it was completely cleared up. I tried several other brands of items on the market for over a year with no results. I definitely recommend this product.

Amazing product, son has severe eczema and this is the only thing that has calmed his itching and even the appearance. That is including several creams and balms and even prescription ones.

This oil is saving my cuticles, which I tend to pick at under stress.

I’m loving this oil. It was recommended by a friend to help w/ the healing of a surgical scar. I’m using at least 2 times a day and I already see a difference.

I have been using this Emu oil for almost two years. I have used it for scrapes, scratches, bruising, and from time-to-time on my face for my light wrinkles. It has such a variety of uses. It can be used for sunburn also. There is never any stinging. This particular brand is by far the best.

I'm amazed by this bar. The first two times I used it my hair was gummy and greasy like other people noted. I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. At some point I started spraying in full strength, apple cider vinegar as I was rinsing my hair in the shower's water stream. The apple cider vinegar made all the difference. It felt like a miracle treatments and my hair was shinier and healthier than I ever remember seeing it as it started to dry. I have very coarse, dry, chemically compromised, thick curly long hair and my curls were drying in record speed. The speed at which my hair begins to dry seems like a real sign of improved strength. I don't know how this works but I love the simplicity of this shampoo bar in my shower as opposed to trying tons of different shampoos with different ingredients. I also discovered a steam hot roller set and I'm really looking forward to my new hair health for 2018. The apple cider vinegar step really is important.

On my second order of this voodoo bamboo shampoo bar. Needless to say it is my favorite product from beautyandthebees. I even use it as a body bar. Leaves hair effectively cleansed, soft, and full of body. Has worked wonders on my scalp psoriasis as it has soothed the inflammation without the use of steroids. I also love the subtle fragrance and conditioning benefits from the honey base in all of their formulas. Best part is that it feeds your hair with all natural ingredients. I love everything about this shampoo. It comes as a bar so no plastic. No SLS, so saving the planet and your hair from being stripped of natural oils. My scalp feels clean and soothed; No itchy irritated skin. If you are not used to SLS free shampoos start with the bottled version first. Your hair will feel different when wet from what you are used to but it’s soft and manageable when dry. I love the charcoal / anise smell.

Also listen up out there everyone. Don’t shampoo your hair everyday!! I switch this out with conditioner only. Yep you can get clean feeling hair with that too. 1 day shampoo 2 days conditioner. Start with bottles then help save the planet and move to bars. Your hair will lose that brassy straw feel.

Lastly do get a separate soap holder. This will stain if laying there but don’t worry does not change the color of your hair. My husband made me one from wood and natural dye.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this bar. I use it on my hair and my body. I suffer from multiple chemical allergies and a gluten allergy, which wrecked my skin. This is my first time using a shampoo bar, and I've waited a while to write this review to really get a sense for how my hair behaves. The smell is very licoricey, but not overpowering, and you can't tell after your hair has dried at all, it just smells clean. The best way to describe it is it makes my hair feel "squeaky clean" in the shower. Since it's the summer time I haven't been blow drying my hair, so still waiting to see how that goes.
The pros:
My hair is very thin, fine, and long. This shampoo bar makes my hair super shiny, thicker than normal, and NO tangles when I brush it out! I love it for this reason, and I don't use any conditioner anymore (I have been using the ACV rinse, but I'll get to that in a second). I've gotten a lot of compliments on how my hair has been looking since using the bar. I have also found I don't require as much dry-shampoo on non-washing days. I typically wash my hair about 2-3 times a week, and my second day hair has not needed any boost from dry-shampoo.
The cons:
I've been using an ACV rinse after the shampoo bar, and honestly this is really annoying. I'm hoping that as my hair gets used to the shampoo bar this is something I can give up. I think it has been slowly improving without the ACV rinse, but I still use it every time I was my hair. One of my main criterias was a bar without sulfates, and this seemed to be one of the only ones I could find, even though others have said you don't need an ACV rinse with JR Liggetts for example. Before using the ACV rinse I can tell my hair is super tangled, but rinsing makes it a lot softer and smoother.
Another con is storage. I haven't figured out a great way to do this yet but it DEFINITELY melts if you just leave it in the shower. Right now I take it out when I'm not using it and leave it in a soap dish on the counter.

Seems to get my itchy scalp under control. Immediately after using it, the itchiness went away. It seems gentle enough to use on a regular basis as well. Finally, given that I can easily slice off a smaller portion and put in my carry on luggage, I don’t need to worry about the whole liquids on a plane thing. Overall very satisfied.

I had just about given up on my scalp when I decided to try this shampoo bar. (I'll be honest, I bought it for the rad packaging).

Having dealt with horrible scalp issues (red, inflamed, scaly, etc.) my entire life, I did get it somewhat under control via diet, but would still have occasional flare ups.

This shampoo bar is the only thing that calms my inflamed scalp if I'm exposed to something I'm allergic to. I've tried prescription shampoos, otc shampoos, no poo, cowashing - everything. This is seriously the most awesome product for someone suffering from psoriasis ever.

My first shampoo bar and i absolutely love it! It left my hair feeling clean and it didnt take much to get a small lather going. I also used it on my body with no irritation. It will leave your hair feeling a bit waxy after you've rinsed it out. No worries here. I used a beer conditioner bar i also tried for the firat time and the waxiness went away. I then used it with no conditioning afterwards and the waxiness went away when my hair dried (i use a towel or let it dry overtime). The scent is also lovely. It has a black licorice like scent and im no fan of the stuff but this is my exception.

Would definitely buy again

This shampoo is great, it does smell strongly of black liquorice but it doesn't make your hair smell that way. Your hair will have an almost rubbery feeling when you lather and rinse it but once you dry it it'll feel good. I haven't noticed any film or anything else people are saying but my hair is short so maybe that's why.

Not the first shampoo bar I've tried, but I am happier with it than the others I've tried. Rinse clean with minimal tangles in my long hair. Only complaint would be that it kind of smells like black licorice.
