Don't waste your money on all of those high dollar shampoo/conditioners. This item you are looking at right now, on your screen. Has the wash, shampoo, whatever you want to call it is hands down the best on the market. I have had my bar for almost 4 months now and here is what I have left. It goes a long way fellas.
So after reading the mixed reviews on this product I have come to the conclusion, that some people expect miraculous change overnight or after a single use from a bar of soap (because they aren't realistic enough to realize its just soap, or that they lack a brain) . It took about 2-3 days for me to notice a change. The fact is that what works for one, does not always work for another. There are way to many factors to say this is a cure all for all that is bad about your beard. That said, I really like this shampoo, YES its a BAR form, or more precisely a block. YES it is a very Earthy / Wood Scent. It DOES NOT replace things like a good quality beard balm or beard oil, but a great compliment to these products. Previously I had been using just shampoo and a good quality conditioner on a daily basis to keep my beard from being the Brillo pad/ wire brush constancy it normally is. I now only use this soap along with a good beard balm, as it did get rid of the dry skin and beard dandruff that was caused by my original method of care (shampoo and conditioner) . My beard is not only softer but also more manageable, so it did as it said it would. IT WILL NOT straighten your beard or de-tangle it, That's what a comb and/or a brush are for. IT WILL NOT make your beard shine like your super dope wheels on your 90's Honda, but will be shinier than the flat paint or powder coat on your fixie bike. Be real its an all natural Soap that does a good job of cleaning and conditioning. The only negative that I found to this block that will likely last me at least 2 months is the $12 price point, But that's for you to decide if a product that can replace two others and keep your beard clean is worth it...
Great beard shampoo, my face and beard felt great after using it and you can feel it working right after you lather up with it. I've attached a photo of my beard as to show my fellow bearded men that it's great for any length as I used this from early mid beard to this glorious thing you see now. You will need to use a beard oil after using this, as with all shampoos will dry out your beard the difference with this shampoo are the natural ingredients used to make it healthier.
Another fantastic product from Fuzzworthy. Love that it is all natural without added nonsense. I have very sensitive skin but thick hair; this always causes problems for me, especially when I try growing out my facial hair.
This is the first time I have purchased this product and I have used it twice so far. I can tell an immediate difference with the softness of the facial hair and my skin feels less irritated and sensitive. The longer you leave it in, the better the results will be. It is one of the first things I do in the shower so it stays in as long as possible. I use it immediately after using Fuzzworthy's soap. But there are also days I use it just on its own to prevent over washing.
So why only 4 stars? The size and price. The soap disk is tiny and for the price you are getting a very little bit for what you pay, especially compared to the Fuzzworthy soap block, which is very substantial in size. I am surprised and disappointed that this conditioner is so small; I don't understand the reason for the size. It is also very soft and after two uses I can tell it will not last me very long, maybe a couple weeks if I am careful. This is a 5 star worthy product for performance, natural ingredients, and scent.....but sadly the size is going to make it difficult to purchase this a few times a month for me.
My facial hair comes in extremely dark and thick. Honestly, my beard has vanquished more than one trimmer in its day, one trimmer even throwing sparks before tripping the circuit breaker. So naturally, I get all manner of flyaways and romantic companions have previously complained about the coarseness of my beard.
This shampoo works great! It has a good smell that isn't overpowering and dissipates a few minutes after my beard dries (which I prefer). I follow up with beard care products like beard oils or a balm to lend my beard a scent for the day (check out the Ladies Man scent by Badass Beard Care). The shampoo is like a bar of soap that lasts quite a while if you take care to remove it from the shower so it doesn't melt. It cleanses my beard and the skin under it well and turns my rough, unruly beard into a soft and fluffy trophy beard. I used to get acne under my beard because other shampoos had difficulty cleansing the skin way deep down under my mane, but with this shampoo I've had clear skin! You will be amazed at what a huge difference a quality shampoo makes!

so THIS is what a real beard shampoo will do!!!!! i’ve been using “head” shampoo forever..... i just assumed the cardboard paper feeling after was normal.... in just ONE WASH.... i could feel the relaxing feeling AS i worked this into my beard. as soon as i washed it out, my frizzy beard was laying DOWN. it was all pointed down!!!! i was so amazed. I just assumed my life was going to be filled with a miserable beard..... i shampoo every other or 2 days. never used beard shampoo, but this one worked for me. i will continue to buy.
I've never had a beard, but Im trying to grow one.
So I can't make an honest statement to how well this performs as a beard conditioner.
What I can state though, is this stuff makes the skin slick, very slick, very very slick.
I have used an electric shaver for my entire shaving history.
I can absolutely say this product makes the best lubricant for electric shaving I've ever experienced.
I've never used anything quite like this stuff. Nothing has ever made shaving easier.
I just wet my face, and rub this bar around the intended shaving area.
Then I enjoy the easiest and most comfortable shave I could ever imagine.
When I'm done, I simply rinse my face with warm water.
I was so impressed after just one use, I bought one of these bars for a friend.
Shaving probably isn't what this product was designed for, but it definitely works for me!

I was using regular shampoo on my beard for the last 4-5 months. its been fine in the winter when I only shampoo it every 2 or 3 days. But im in Texas, and now that its getting hot and I work outdoors, I shampoo it every day. Regular shampoo/conditioner was drying it out, almost to the point where i thought it was going to flake off.. I purchased this after hearing good things from a friend. My beard feels AMAZING now. Clean, and smells fantastic. the ONLY thing i dislike is that it is in a bar. Not that big of a deal but the bar gets wet and sticks to the bath tub... It would be GREAT if they drilled a hole in the middle and tied a rope thru it. I would honestly pay more for it if it had a rope. the side that sticks to the bathtub gets soft and kind of gross. Im still giving the product 5 stars because its so great. I'll probably just drill a hole and tie an old loofah rope thru it so it doesnt stick to everything anymore
I was skeptical because i have not used soaps in a long time. But i loved this so much that i ordered a new one after a week for my dad. Here's what I love about it.
1. It makes my beard soft and it looks better and well kept after wards. I do apply some olive oil afterwards to shape it better otherwise it curls a bit. Without oil, it will take half a day before it looks like i want it to look.
2. It doesnt itch after i use it.
3. it smells very masculine... kinds woody.. but not fruity or flowery which i always find a bit feminish.
4. it lasts long.. really long which makes it kinda inexpensive.
5. it lathers a lot. i dont even rub it much... just rub it once from one side of the face to the other and tada... the first time i used it created enough lather that i washed my head with it too.
6. then i realized you can wash your head hair as well and they feel good as well. So now its my one stop shop shampoo.
7. i traveled without it for a few weeks and my beard started looking unkept. so i missed it and ive never missed a soap/shampoo before.
This soap is small but a little bit goes a long damn way. I love the smell and it cleans excellently. I've never really had a problem with beard druff but i had one instance where i notice some flaking off heavily . i wasn't sure what to do soninbought this and worked it in my beard and the next day not a flake in site and never again. I use this wrekly and the smell is awesome. Some people say the smell is terrible but those are the people i imagine who wear axe body spray and do crossfit and can't change a tire if need be. You know, manly men
