it performs exceptionally well, due to it's several unique, functional design elements;

• the hardwood handle is not polished or coated (in high gloss urethane or the like, resulting in a higher frictional grip with zero slippage, especially with the presence of beard oils and/or balms/waxes
• the handle has a smooth, convex channel around the entire circumference, to further enable a better grip, and, most importantly, to facilitate excellent dexterity and control, for styling.
• it's long, very narrow, oval shape is ideal to style, both the wide and, especially, the narrow portions of your beard and moustache.
• it's stiff, first cut boar's bristles are not densely packed, so as to serve as a bit of a, if you will, "hybrid comb/brush", enabling even better styling.
lastly, it is very well made, of high quality materials, and, antcipated, high durability.

I love this brush. At first if feels a little stiff, but after a few days of brushing your beard, I actually think it feels good on my face. This is the only way I can get a satisfying scratch through my beard. It really does work well, and even my wife and stated that she think my beard looks much better. Small enough to fit in the pocket and carry around all day, but big enough to work. The bag protects the brush when in our pocket. Carry this every day to keep a clean and groomed beard.
After using a couple of other beard brushes, one being larger, I prefer the stiffness of the bristles on this brush above all, The quality is unrivalled by what I have used so far. I really with Zues would make a bigger brush that matches this little brushes performance and has the same firmness to it....I would buy it in a heart beat. Another brush I got has a black handle and I'm not going to mention the name but lets just say its shoddy quality and has soft bristles which it claimed otherwise.
I love this brush for both my beard and the side of my hair. The bristles are extremely stiff and spread beard oil to every part of the hair very well. The wood part smells great. The one thing I would warn you about is that this brush is very pocket sized. Make sure you double check the dimensions to know exactly what you are buying.
Also, my dog loooved the smell of the wood and ended up chewing on it like a toy. The bristles are fine, but the wood is soft enough that a small 10lb dachshund was able to nearly eat through the whole thing. Not a fault of the brush at all, just wanted to let you know the wood is soft and not hard at all.
So...I don't actually have a beard. I'm a girl with short hair, and I like to travel light. I bought this because I prefer bristle brushes to combs (helps with wispy fly-aways), and I couldn't find a bristle brush that was very compact for my toiletries kit. This brush works great. The quality seems good, and I've observed no shedding of bristles. The bristles are relatively stiff, though I'm not sure they'd be great for coarse/curly hair/beards. The overall size is great, even smaller than many of the other beard brushes I saw on Amazon, but plenty big enough to do the job, with a couple extra passes. I would think it is probably a perfect size for beard-brushing.

I have to say that I wasn't expecting the might Zeus himself to forge his power into something so small and useful. I have to say I love this little brush it is the best.
I love the feel and color of the wood. The packaging was simple but tasteful. Wish it came with a nice little bag to tote this wonderful brush.
As for result as soon as I opened it and applied it onto my growing beard I saw a total difference in how my hair laid down compared to me using my standard brush. I have to say I am very impressed with result I have received so far and I am planning on purchasing a backup.

I have had this brush for a few weeks and I do like it. I like the stiffness of the boar bristles, and it has not softened up to this point(I like that). I was a little surprised at the size of the brush(it's small). That's not false advertising, but rather me not paying attention to the product details.
I have been impressed with this little brush. I will try other Zeus brand products.
So, I honestly never write reviews but I feel like this is worth it. I’ve had this brush for years. I have a long rough beard and it’s very hard to tame, but this brush has definitely done the job. I’ve had the same one forever and it’s still as good as the day I bought it. I carry it in my pocket everyday no matter what. Other than the pocket lint it’s picked up I have zero complaints. I can’t comment for anyone with a short beard, but if you have a long and wild beard this is definitely the one you want. I love this thing. Seriously. Every time I leave the house it’s wallet, phone, keys, and my Zeus brush.
This is a very small yet effective brush for beards and mustaches. It fits in your hand well, and has nice stiff (but not scratchy) bristles. If you have a big beard, it may not work for you, but for anything up to an inch long, it seems perfect.
I keep it in my shoulder bag, and the little packing bag that comes with the brush protects it nicely. For my bathroom, I use a larger brush, as I think this might be a little too small for all of my beard grooming.
Where do I begin... As a small business owner myself I am always happy to spread the love when it is deserved, and well Zeus deserves all 5 gold stars.
I purchased the Zeus brush for my man to aid in his recent endevour of growing a beard. I thought a pocket sized brush would be best... because up until it arrived he had been carrying around one of my large hair brushes so I thought a pocket sized one would be a match made in heaven.
A match it is!! He not only brings it everywhere (I assume it's not like a toothbrush so it might be socially acceptable) and well it never makes it in his pocket. He is hooked! He lets other men with beards even try it... and he then tells them to order "the Zeus"! I hope the good vibes keep spreading... and thank you for making such a fine product.
