I like the smell of my hair treatment, the pleasing odor is half the point.
Dapper Dan has been a very entertaining product. I recently had to shave my head and as the hair is growing back I tell everyone "I'm a Dapper Dan man". Yes, the movie "Oh Brother..." started the trend but hey, works for me. I pull out the tin of Dapper Dan, flop it from side to just as the Skoal dippers do then put a pinch between the cheek and ear. Then drag a little across the front of the head for that perfect part. You will get attention if the crowd is tuned in enough to understand the gestures and movie. My husband swears by this for his Brad Pitt Fury look. It is very strong and holds in place. He puts Suavecito cream for the ability to move it around throughout the day, as he has to wear a cover with his uniform that messes up his hair. The suavecito makes it look sort of wet. Dapper Dan doesn't give you the wet look, but the two combined are the perfect match.
Great smell, outstanding hold.
This stuff is the best. All my life, I've used product- all kinds. Standard guy hair, but I just don't like a dry head personally. This stuff- I wish I tried earlier in life. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and this is worth every penny.
You barely need to use any- but it does take some water to dilute in the hands.

Hold: Just as it says Medium, (which is what I was looking for) I have noticed that if you need extra hold, simply apply more product.
Shine: Very light shine, does not stand out at all (also what I was looking for)
Scent: Has slight citrusy like smell to it NOT over powering, just a light scent
Where this product stands out is that it does not leave your hair greasy whatsoever! It also washes out easily without any residue left behind

Deluxe Pomade can be re-combed at any point although we do recommend a wet comb be used to restyle with more ease.

Apply a small amount to palms of hands and spread evenly through dry or damp hair, comb through and style as required. For optimum hold simply use a little more pomade and apply to dry hair

Ordered this for my brother after he asked about it at one of the big box stores. They told him they could get it in 2 weeks! I ordered it and got it two DAYS later. He was thrilled to say the least. He really likes this stuff.

Good stuff. Smells good, holds medium and shines medium just as advertised. I've been using Layrite and Suavecito for years so I thought I would try this out. I gave it 4 stars because it's not any different in quality, smell or hold to layrite and suavecito and they are $12.99 for the same amount.
I have used pomade for 12 years, I thought this was more of a gag.... this is the BEST pomade I have ever used. Not to hard, but you don't feel like a oil slick is in your hair. It washes out immediatly and smells awesome!
I like it and will order it again.
I could have got it from Bristol, but the pharmacy told me it would have taken two weeks. This came in three days.
