This is a really great beard comb. The quality is top notch (in my opinion), and my significant other loves it. My major complaint is that the leather sleeve, STINKS. You'd expect it to have that comforting leather smell, but, instead, I was completely taken aback by it's chemical'ish, vinegar'ish, tires burning, scent. Very strong. Not sure if it was just treated with something, or what, but yeah, definitely off-putting. There were already some scuff marks on the sleeve, but, that only stood out to me as a female, and I'm guessing probably wouldn't bother most guys. Hopefully over time, the sleeve's terrible smell, fades away. Aside from that, I brushed my hair with it, and even rubbed it against my bare face; smooth and comfortable against my scalp and cheeks. If I were a guy, I'd say it's a little too big to be used as a daily pocket comb. You could totally do it, I just know that I wouldn't. I think my next purchase will be some kent combs, for him to either carry in his pocket, or possibly in his lunch bag. It's funny because he's never bought a single beard product, and I'm over here buying custom brushes, combs, oils, wax, butter, beard soap, soap strainer, etc etc etc lol. I even convinced him to take biotin, and showed him how to straighten with a blow-dryer *facepalm*. His beard is practically my child, it probably deserves a name at this point. Hey, maybe I'll name it, Zeus. Haha.
If I could come back and give this comb even more than five stars, I would. My original sandlwood beard comb got funky, and started to smell bad after it absorbed face grease over time. I've had this Zeus for well over a year, and it still smells like sandalwood, even though I comb my beard several times throughout each day. The teeth are even, the gaps between them are totally smooth, and the whole comb is smoothed and polished to a high luster. Some real care and attention to detail went into its manufacture, with the result that it performs impressively well on my tangle-prone mix of curly and straight facial hairs.
This is a very nice beard comb. My son has refused to get a haircut since middle school, and his hair is just a crazy mess. I watched him struggling with a plastic comb that had half the teeth broken out, and I got an idea. I handed him one of my beard combs. Now I'm on here ordering him a beard comb for his raggedy looking hippie hair, and this will make my third one of these.
This was bought by me as a stocking stuffer for my husband. I gave him this one along with several others to try. He has only had his beard about a year and is loving it but is still experimenting with various products to maintain the "manly scruff." Anyhow, he loved this comb. The size is excellent. The teeth are spaced perfectly for his wild hair. And the wood smells incredible. I really like how the comb feels in my hand. And my husband states, "By far my favorite beard comb. Like the sandal wood smell." He carries this comb with him everywhere now. I am very happy with this product.
My husband says this comb is very well made. The teeth are nicely spaced and are not sharp- they don't pull the beard or irritate the skin. The leather case is a nice plus. If you are looking for a one-sided comb this is the comb for you! In my opinion, after using this comb, there is no advantage to having a two-sided beard comb. This beard comb does it all, well.
Just received my beer comb and I used it for the first time I impress did not tug on my beer it was smooth, I am pleased with this product and would recommend it.

My husband had a wooden comb he carried in his pocket. His keys caused several of the teeth to break off. I gave him this comb and he loved it!! It has the added protection of the cover. He loves it!!
This comb is perfect for me. Eliminates the itching when my beard wants to start getting gnarly. The comb has a great feel in hand and makes quick work of rogue hairs. It looks fantastic and the leather pouch is a nice touch of class to an amazing product.

Love this beard comb. Quality wood. Prefer this style to 2-sided. Would buy again, but likely will not ever need to buy a beard comb again.
