I bought this for my co-worker, I was reluctant to buy this for myself at first. But after, seeing my co-worker using it non-stop in our salon back to back with customers coming in with skinfade. I am quite impressed with how sharp and precise this little trimmer is. As a stylist, anything that delivers precision and cordless makes my work more effiecient.
This product is a great idea but the adjustment does not work properly . it never gets back to proper setting to trim or then edge. I have kept it oiled and clean after every client . The blade bites and leaves serious marks on neck and clean up around ears. I am very light handed with them . And they are not safe to use. I have waited to long to write this ! I do not recommend
An awesome trimmer it puts the Bevel Trimmer to shame. After I zero gap the blade it was on love it. Great job Wahl.
Love this trimmer. I've been using the corded 5* detailer for about 2 yrs now, and that is an excellent upgrade. Clean lines, and can be zero-gapped. Like that the edge can be adjusted for more sensitive locations like under the chin or back of the neck. This trimmer can easily be used as a balder as well which is what I mainly use it for and it is excellent for coarse hair. Some of the other sellers on Amazon do try to push used trimmers as new so watch out for that as it happened to me 2x before I got a new one. Otherwise excellent purchase.
Excellent product for detailing ones own hair. Seems to be holding up fine, no issues, nice cuts. I use to suffer from ingrown hairs but i seem to get a clean trim with these and that problem is going down less for me.

I really like this product because it is light to carry, durable, easy to use, and can be used anywhere without hassle for the reason that it is cordless.
Recieved my Wahl Professional 5-Star cordless Detailers BRAND NEW no hairs in between the blades. Nice and sharp. Will be buying these again thats for sure!
Been using this in the shop and it is awesome. Blades can be adjusted. Very nice cordless machine.
Great edgers for my line ups
Pros: - Cut very well once zero gapped use the one min blade modifier and it will cut even better.
-The adjustable lever is great for using along the back of the neck and neck line
- great for the beards, goaties and mustaches.
Cons: -It a bit bulky
-doesn't cut as close as the Andis slimline pro li in my opinion
