Forward: I've never used beard oil in my the first 20 years of sporting chin hair; but I started getting tired of how tough and scraggly my facial hair had become. So I started contemplating the future purchase of a beard oiI should the opportunity arise. Now, I have the pleasure of living in the Great State of Texas where we have Buccee's. It was at Buccee's that I was able to try a sample of Duke Cannon Best Damn Beard Oil "Redwood" scented. The aroma of the Redwood scent alone got me intrigued; but dare I pay $28 for a 3oz. bottle of beard oil on smell alone? I had to try it. I rubbed a sample on my heretofore neglected goatee and then went to grab a quick drink while the oil soaked in. Within a minute or two, the time it took for my facial hair had absorb the oil, I noticed a softness that my goatee has never had before. I did a quick about-face and picked up both the Duke Cannon Best Damn Beard Oil and the Duke Cannon Best Damn Beard Balm in Redwood scent. I believe that this product will be close at hand from now on.
What's the difference between Beard Oil and Beard Balm?
Both are leave in conditioners that will soften your facial hair but the main difference is that oil will work harder to repair your worn dry hair while balm will help seal and protect while styling. Oil & balm are a one-two punch for conditioning and styling. Get them both. Regret nothing.

Scraggly, scratchy, and best of all, itchy beards no more! This stuff really does soften and takes the itch out of your bearded skin. The oil does leave a slight shine to the beard hairs so I would use it at night and the paste during the day. The beard is gone for the hot summer months but will return to me in October just as Hades comes to collect Persephone and the first autumn winds blow.
I use several of Duke's products and haven't found any I didn't like.

Can’t say enough about these products!! My wife purchased the lip balm and solid cologne and have received tons of compliments on the cologne and for a guy the lip balm works great for as much as I don’t use it. The beard products are AMAZING I’ve tried TONS of beard products and this in my opinion is the best quality product I’ve used. It smells great and my beard has thickened up a little bit but most of all my beard is softer. The balm doesn’t leave the clumps of stuff that doesn’t dissolve and the oil leaves a nice smooth sheen not too greasy.
