I ordered this at a discounted price with no promise of a review and as a coarse beard having guy I was ready to leave a mediocre review in a heartbeat. Shipping was quick! My first impressions were that it's beautiful packaging, well designed , printed, and bottled. Opening it I was greeted with a wonderful sandalwood scent, I was initially concerned with it being too overwhelming sitting right under my nose but more on that later. Using the shampoo I thought that it was just a different scented body wash, nothing strikes me as special about the shampoo honestly (it might have some special properties but it didn't seem too different from the handmade local soaps that I typically use). The conditioner has a very silky feel, I'm not a chemist and I haven't researched all the ingredients but... THIS STUFF WORKS!! (sorry for yelling!) I have a VERY coarse and difficult to tame beard that I have fought for the past few years and I thought I had found my go to routine (working the best thus far), an in shower conditioner, and a after shower conditioner and balm to help style it. I tried Viking Revolution's set for a week straight without using anything else, just their product and found that my beard was soft and generally easily styled (I have a weird cow-lick curl at my sideburns that was still wild). Oh yeah, that scent? It's pretty nice to get an occasional whiff of sandalwood, not too strong, I've gotten compliments on it as well! TL,DR: give it a try!
I have been reluctant to try any beard specific shampoo and conditioner, after a friend had an allergic reaction to some. After starting to use heat on my beard, I decided that a dragons breath upon my whiskers was starting to damage my poor face pubes. Adding these two products in conjunction with my argon oil heat shield, and beard balm, i can run my hands through my beard and have the confidence of what i would assume Zeus himself had.
The softness of my beard went from a 2 to a 9! All the ladies come running up to me asking to sit on my face. I cant complain.
I've used about 6 different beard oils and balms over the last couple of years and just recently got Viking revolution scentless oil and citrus balm... and I can't say enough about it! I've been using Monat Black mens shampoo/conditioner on my beard for a while because it's supposed to be pretty good for you and I love the smell and how it makes my hair and beard feel. In my opinion/experience... The Viking revolution sandalwood wash and conditioner is giving me excellent results. It doesn't leave my beard super soft or anything but it is helping to keep it clean and since I'm using oil and balm it seems to be a perfect combination. I gave it 5 stars because I am having great results so far. I am not, however, a huge fan of the sandalwood scent. It's not that it's bad by any means, just not a personal favorite scent of mine. On the scent topic, though, it's a light scent and does not last real long. Once I put on the citrus balm I can't even smell the sandalwood. All in all a great product so far for me.
This stuff is fantastic. I was dealing with major beard itch. After one use, all the dead skin under my beard that was causing the itch, came off! I didn’t even know it was there! I don’t like oils or beard creams or even most washes because they leave my beard greasy. I like a course beard. I’m a man, not a smooth faced baby. This stuff has relieved the itch, didn’t make my beard greasy and makes my beard look natural. It has a very subtle classic smell. I personally wish it smelt a little stronger, but I like strong scents. The average person would probably like how subtle it is. All and all I highly recommend!
I bought this along with their kit (oil, balm, comb, brush) and as someone with a coarse, scraggly beard, this stuff changed my life. It smells great, feels great, and my beard has NEVER been this touchable and healthy. I've even noticed more even, full growth in the month I've been using it (not to say it'll make your beard grow, this is just my personal experience now that mine is so well groomed). I've used a few different beard specific products (shampoo, conditioner, oil, etc) and viking revolution is honestly the only brand I've seen obvious improvement in the health of my face and hair.

I use to buy my Boyfriend a beard product from Brazil and shipment to USA would take about 18 business day. So his birthday was getting close and I don't have time to wait about 18 days for shipment another thing is that the brand from Brazil did not have conditioner for beard. Went online and did some research Viking was one of the top beard products! Another plus that made me buy this product is that the brand name goes great with the product and my boyfriend style (how family joke that he is a big Viking). He open the box and was really happy since he already heard good things about the product but never tried before. After shower he and I love the smell and how soft the product made his beard, helping out brushing and not screaming at me when I play with his beard and get my fingers stuck trying to detangle his beard hahaha. In terms of growth I believe is a little too soon for any saying. Overall great product and definitely will buy more when needed.

I have a medium long beard. When I grow it too long it starts to curl so I have to use beard wax\paste which I prefer not to cuz I don't care for the stiff feeling. So about a week ago I started using Viking and it's great! All I have to do is wash and condition while showering and then after I dry and comb my beard lies flat the rest of the day. No wax needed. It also feels nice and soft! I will definitely order more when needed.
I have used many different products and all fell short. I have a medium length beard and have had trouble softening and having it lay flat. The shampoo cleans and lathers up and smells great. After just using the shampoo i was very impressed with the feel. It does not dry out my face and my beard felt clean and the skin felt soothed. The conditioner was just amazing. I left it in for 10 minutes to really get the softening effect i have been looking for. My beard felt very soft. It looked healthier and layed down like it has never done without wax. It smells great. It doesn't have a unnatural feel to it...it just feels clean and soft and natural. I am a huge fan. I will be buying another set of the shampoo and conditioner. I am a customer for life!
I had no idea my husbands beard didn’t have to be scratchy! He’d been using regular hair shampoo/conditioner, and this stuff made all the difference. It feels nice against my face now, and he said the texture is a huge improvement for him too.
These products work great. I had problems with what I thought was eczema. I used medicated creams to control it but never compleatly went away. I have been using this product for a little over a week now and my beard is compleatly clear of eczema. My beard is nice and soft,feels and smells great. I would definitely recommend this product to anybody with a beard.
