So for clarity. My beard hangs down to my belly. I’m a hands-off guy.
But my wife of so long doesn’t like the scratchy hobo under the bridge thing. So my compromise is always some Beard Reverence beard oil and balm.
In the course of a day, I can go from dry and straggly, and obviously scratchy, to soft and manageable. I’ve tried numerous popular brands, and this one seems to be a perfect mix of quality, quantity, and longevity.
This stuff also works wonders for my dry skin beard itch. I used to use head and shoulders daily. Which screwed up my beard. Now it’s these products only.
I grabbed these when I saw they were new. I actually expected to *not* like the unscented oil and balm. I was wrong. I absolutely dig it. I wear cologne, so unscented means not having to find compatible scents.
With daily use these bottles last me quite a while.
The balm is a nice soft texture that melts into my palms quickly and spreads real well through my beard. It really softens and helps keep the crazy hobo look at bay. I have texture issues in life and the balm feels much better than I ever expected.
Once it’s rubbed in my beard I wipe any excess across my tattoos and it keeps them soft and supple too.
I bought this as a gift for my brother who definitely needed to show his beard some tlc. He was out here looking like a wild man and not in a good way, lol.
The beard oil has helped with the dryness he is so used to, after using he looked like a new man. His beard looked healthy! The beard balm was awesome at taming the hairs that would make him appear scraggly looking.
I now know what to gift the bearded fellows in my life, and I will be purchasing more in the future.
Won this product as a giveaway and was pleasantly surprised when I got it. Right out of the box the presentation was great. This oil and balm set is unscented which is perfect for a lot of occasions. Sometimes I will have scented oils but no matching balms (vice versa) and other times I don't want any scent or want to wear a cologne for that day. This product fills all of those needs and does a great job at it. The balm doesn't have a strong hold but it does condition and feels good in beard. Their oil keeps my beard feeling hydrated throughout the day or night and performs as expected. I think my only gripe, which is a small one at that, is that in hand I can smell the carrier oils that are in this product but once it's in beard they disappear and I'm left with a soft feeling beard. Great job on this product and I would definitely recommend this to others if they are looking for something unscented and at a fantastic price point. Did I mention you get 2oz of the oil!?! Awesome job!
I have used their products before and really enjoyed the last formula they had when i purchased the beard grooming kit. I was excited to try out the new formula i saw them discussing on social media. The oil has a couple different ingredients and still performs great ! haven't had any dryness/itchiness.
The balm has also only increased in performance. It is a little more solid then the old one which i like so it provides a better hold and doesn't wash out as easy when getting wet in the shower. It's not a super strong hold which i like because i have tried some that make my beard feel stiff, this balm leaves it feeling soft and smooth and feeling healthy. I would definitely buy again and would recommend to any one looking for a banger of a deal. Look forward to tying anything new from Beard Reverence in the future.
No one tells you how to grow a beard. nevermind care of it. This kit does both and at a bargain price. The oil softens and nourishes the hair and skin. (My beard is coarse and brittle like steel wool. It now feels like cashmere). The balm keeps it looking neatly groomed all day without making your face oily! I have a thick, coarse beard, and it seems as though any beard oil I tried would only work for half of a day. Other companies promised to leave your beard feeling soft all day, but wanted almost $30 for a bottle. I figured I'd try this since it's all natural, and I'm hooked. My beard is soft all day and I haven't had a dry itch sensation at all like I did with other oils. Highly recommend this product.
The product came in a nice box that kept the items safe. The unscented oil and balm really do have a minimal scent. I've tried other unscented oils that still had a strong smell to them. The oil is just the right consistency to even help tame some stray hairs. The balm is nice and not too hard to apply. It doesn't leave your beard stiff or too greasy like other balms.
Guys, do yourself a favor and just buy this stuff. I’ve used tons of different oils and I’ve spend tons of money. For this price you can’t beat the quality. The unscented oil is awesome. No need to search for a scent to match cologne. I’d recommend this to anyone. This balm has a little more hold than the first one. Makes your beard look fuller. Not disappointed at all
