Andis 04603 Go Professional Outliner II Square Blade Trimmer , Gray

This is a professional grade razor especially for African American men who have problems with razor bumps. I use this to maintain my baldy and trim my facial hairs. This thing rocks

Bottom line up front: if you suffer from razor bumps and ingrown hairs this is the product for you. My job requires me to shave daily and for years I've been the subject of annoying razor bumps and ugly in grown hairs (as is typical of black men because of the nature of our hair). I was recommended these clippers by a friend and after reading some reviews and being tired of having my face be ground zero for ingrown hairs I gave these a shot and boy am I happy I did! I gave myself a week to grow out my beard and then started using these to dry shave every day. My face is 100% clear of razor bumps and ingrown hairs and I couldn't be happier. I'll admit nothing beats a razor to the face when it comes to a close shave but these clippers get pretty darn close so that you can't even tell the difference. My only wish was that these were cordless and rechargeable. Nonetheless, I highly recommend these to anyone who suffers from and is fed up with razor bumps and ingrown hairs.

I have owned a lot of trimmers through the years and this is clearly the best.
Extremely high quality and long lasting.
I have been using it regularly for 5 years and it has never given any trouble.
Finally replaced the original blades last month and now it is even better.
But make sure you keep the blades lubricated if you want them to last.
This is what Barbers use so if you want the best then get this.

I've been in search of a stubble clipper food my face that will last, and have finally found it. This bad boy is quieter than all the others I have tried and is extremely heavy duty. I've gone through many others like Remington and Norelco, but they are nowhere as close on quality. I'm confident this will continue to give a better shave for many years at about the same price compared to the standard cordless trimmers that come and go.

I have the Outliner, which has a longer cutting edge. I bought these for my son, since he likes to do designs and I figured the shorter edge would allow him more flexibility. He's fully satisfied with the II. I like the one more because it seems to cut smoother, but that may just be blade adjustment and I haven't altered his because he likes it the way it is. Both work great.

LOVE these! I've been cutting my hair* for nearly a decade, but this is the first time I've purchased a pair of outlining clippers. It is amazing how polished-off they make your haircut look. Although I've used other clippers to clean up the edges--particularly above my ears--I didn't expect it to make such a world of difference. These outliners give a very smooth line, and they don't require a second passover.

Also, they are alright to shaved with. You can get a close cut with no razor burn, but they don't glide along your face very well, and I find it takes more time to shave with these than it does with a normal razor. They are excelled for outlining the hairline along the neck, around the ears, sideburns, etc. Great product, A+

*traditional men's cut-- 1" on the top, shaved gradient on the sides.

I've been cutting hair for years as student barber with just clippers and no liners. The difference with these is night and day. It creates sharp lines instantly which reduces my cut time. It also arrives with blades already lined up! Which is a huge plus. My clients say it's comfortable and doesn't cause any irritation. It is louder than clippers because of its stronger motor and also gets hotter. I recommend Andi's cool care spray for coolant, lubricant, disinfectant.

My only con is the shape of it. It makes it a little hard to hold.

My only wish is that I had bought one sooner. I have owned many of the store bought trimmer variety over the years and they last around 4-5 years at best. This trimmer gets closer than any I have ever owned, is quieter, works faster, and I know will out live all the others with proper care. I had always fallen for the cordless self sharpening b.s. of the other cheaper trimmers which worked fine but are not even comparable to these. I found these on sale on amazon for ten dollars more than the same trimmer by Con-air that I previously owned. I have to dry shave for reasons of sensitive skin and ingrown hairs. I also bought the combs and oil that go with this trimmer which I recommend.

So I am buying a replacement for the one I bought 6-7 years ago. It would have lasted way longer if I had not accidentally dropped it a few times. The last time I dropped it a year ago I bent the mount for the blades but was able to bend it partially back and got another year out of it. The motor still works and it would still be going strong if I had not damaged it by dropping it...multiple times and still kept on for years....any of the other cheap trimmers would have died after the first all thumbs moment hitting the floor!

It is a good trimmer, I use for my daily shaving, the engine is powerful, after two years still shows the same power. The only drawback I've had is that the blades are very fragile, with small strokes teeth brake, and the problem is that when you try shaving with the blades so, you pull your hair instead of cutting and hurts.

The replacement costs 15 dollars which is not very cheap considering paying 47 for the trimmer.

Andis makes a great product. I bought these clippers to line and shape my goatee. It's able to get into small corners better than the T-Outliner due to the shorter blade. It's a good piece of machinery to keep in your hair cutting set.
