This is a superb quality oil that leave my less-than-young skin feeling soft and supple. It's too late in the season to find out how it does in dry skin weather, but I'm looking forward to using it then as well. The antioxidant properties are coming in handy given the conditions that I work in. It absorbs quickly and is a definite must in my skin care arsenal!
I am the type of person who does very little as far as cleansing and makeup goes. I break out with the occasional pimple here or there, and as far as makeup, I usually only wear eye liner, mascara, sometimes a little eyeshadow or blush. With that said I am in LOVE with this oil!!! In the winter my face can get pretty dry except for my t-zone, including flakiness and a general "thirsty skin look". Not only is it Organic *BONUS*, thiis oil is so light, it almost feels like a "dry oil" !!! I only use 1 drop for my whole face, and then whatever is left over on my hands I apply to my neck, it adds this dewy appearance that I wasn't really expecting, and I swear after applying it minimizes the appearance of my small fine lines. I have not had any issues this winter so far with the typical winter flaky dry skin, and it has not caused me to break out on my t-zone either! I am seriously LOVING what I'm already seeing, feeling and experiencing with this oil and I will be sure to replenish my stock! Thank you!!!

Meadowfoam is an herbaceous winter annual plant native to the pacific Northwest region of the United States. Meadowfoam seed oil has been extracted from the seeds of the (meadowfoam) plant and is an edible oil. The plant derives the name meadowfoam as when it is in bloom it resembles the white foam that rides the ocean waves. Meadowfoam oil has some unique properties. It has between 15-23% brassic acid and it has between 60-65% gadoleic acid (ecosenoic acid). Because of the similar quantity of gadoleic acid as jojoba oil (66-88%) it has the same qualities as jojoba oil and is non greasy like jojoba too.

This is a super oil to mix in with a carrier oil for daily skincare. A little goes a long well.
I have extremely sensitive skin, and this calms it right down! I use it after cleansing in the morning, so it doubles as a foundation primer (I wait 5 minutes for full absorption to occur).
The other thing I like is its mild, soothing smell. I can't really describe it, but I feel like I'm pampering myself every time I use it!
