The smell is a really good musky scent that's not overpowering at all, even if you use each of the items as part of your regular routine. I've been using a really great bar beard shampoo, and I don't remember how well I like the Barbero beard shampoo, so we'll see. Maybe I'll update my review. Nonetheless, this is the second set I've purchased, so I obviously like the product. Everything lasts a surprisingly long time despite the small sizes. I really love the beard/mustache wax, great hold, not too heavy, it even smells good. I would buy it as a stand alone product, it's that good. Overall, the Barbero line helps to maintain my beard really well.
