I have thick curly hair. I live in a region where summers are very humid & winters are very dry, so my whole life has been spent fighting weather-induced frizz. The Organix line of kukui oil products is the answer to all my problems. I use the shampoo, conditioner & curl cream, and occasionally the spray. These products don't weigh my hair down, and they make my hair soft and much less frizzy. The huge mess of hair on my head becomes a manageable mess of soft curls thanks to these products. The 6 pack of products is the best value. I have a hard time finding these in stores but when I do, they go for at least $8-10 a bottle.
This OGX conditioner is excellent for those with coarse, thick, color treated, curly hair (that would be me), but may be too heavy for those with fine or normal hair to use every day.
Sulfate-free, this OGX product is as good as any big name (and high priced) salon brands I've tried. The use of the Kukui Oil in the product gives my hair a soft, manageable texture that makes my hair frizz resistant in high humidity. This is great living in the Northwest, as at least half the year is rainy where I live.
I use this product in conjunction with the shampoo by the same name. Using both products and the finishing oil offers maximum management of my curly locks, but I do find that I can't use the products every day and have to alternate between these and the OGX Conditioner, Hydrating Macadamia Oil, 13oz which tends not to weigh my hair down as much as the Kukui oil line.
Overall, this is a very good product that when used as directed (3-5 minutes on the hair before rinsing out), provides your hair with humidity resistance and fewer 'fuzzy' hair days. It smells good and works well, but may be too heavy on thin or normal hair.
