This is actually my second purchase from plant guru i absolutely love both of my experiences as far as purchase, delivery, and using the products. I first bought a box set being it was my introduction to essential oils and haven't looked back since. After my first purchase i got familiar with what i like and what's best for me and my family's needs and made a purchase from another company ( edens garden) they were cool however i couldn't help but feel like the Plant Guru oils made a more potent or just seemed to be more effective so i came back and now more experienced in what I like I'm purchasing single and larger sizes. Always along with the variety 10ml box set. I hope this helps someone.
I generally deal with wholesale suppliers for my botanicals, but when I need something quick and I don't want to make some huge order to reach the minimum, Plant Guru is my go-to supplier here on Amazon. Shipping is prompt and customer service is excellent, while the oils themselves are of good quality and are what they're supposed to be. This bergamot specifically is lovely and goes into many of my products.

Bergamot Essential Oil is a well known and widely used oil. You can find it in many perfumes and it's often used as the top note. It's also used in soaps and skin care. It's has a citrus smell but is also earthy. It really is a nice oil to have on hand. You can do a lot with this oil and it is a must for anyone who is interested in essential oils.
Some of the things Bergamot is great for are it's calming and soothing, promotes healthy clear skin, frequently used in massage therapy, support the digestive system, relieves stress levels or tension, gives you energy, relieves depression, it's a antibiotic and disinfectant, relieves pain, insomnia, reduces fever, cramps, convulsions, and painful muscle contractions, chronic coughing, respiratory conditions, as well as asthma, healing of wounds, cracks on the skin and heels, eczema and itching.
Bergamot oil should be protected from sunlight, because bergaptene, one of its components, becomes poisonous if exposed to sunlight. That's why the oil should always be stored in dark bottles and in dark places. It's a great oil to blend with other oils. It works well defused, on skin and inhaled. I really enjoy this oil. Recommended!

Nice citrusy smell that seems fresh. Can't really tell otherwise, but bergamot is an important essential oil and this one is a good price and quality. I always buy from Plant Guru or these others: Plant Therapy, Miracle Botanicals, Edens Garden and Ananda Apothecary (anandaapothecary.com). These seem trustworthy and I've never been disappointed with the products. Also they educate.
