I notice a decline in quality of cuts with my Peanut. Was looking for ways to sharpen the blades, but was amazed 2 find it could be replaced. This replacement is very good. Much better than the old one I have been using for 6 or more years I guess. But not as good as the original. At least, as far as I remember. But, this one I can feel it cutting much closer to my skin. Before my first use I oiled it. Even tho I think it is not as good, still much better than buying a new Peanut, but I thing I am going to buy another for travel.
I love any product that is well-engineered: one with the details sorted, the use made easy, and inexpensive repairs that can be performed by the user. The Peanut ranks high on the list of such products, and the fact that I could replace the entire cutting head (I dropped mine and one of the plastic tabs that holds the head in place broke off) in 30 seconds for $15 bucks... well, that's awesome. I was ready to buy a new peanut when I saw this. The Peanut is the world's best beard trimmer, and now mine is just like new. Five stars.
Bought the clippers a little over 3 years. Needed some fresh blades since the blades were becoming a little dull and loose. I hope these last as long since they feel a little flimsy in quality especially the little clip on stump. I used a little gorilla glue to make sure it stays in place. So far they've been cutting great, even and smooth.
Love the Wahl peanut trimmer. DO NOT clean these with ammonia-based soaps--like (hand) dish soap, or shampoo. Ammonia/ammonium will eat the chrome right off overnight! Use bar soap. After cleaning off the hair, I keep mine in a mix of soap and rubbing alcohol, in a closed jar. The soap lubricates it and the alcohol keeps stuff from growing in the soap.
Of course I purchased my black peanut and within a month it fell on the floor and chipped the blade. I was so stoked when my coworker told me I could just purchase the snap on part. My peanut is back in working action and I'm glad I didn't have to buy a whole new one. Snaps on easily, trust me you'll be able to figure it out.

I thought about buying a new clipper but realized that I have never changed the blade in my 7 year old Peanut . I saw this replacement blade selling for much less than a new clipper so I ordered one. I installed the new blade and my Peanut clipper cuts like new. I'm very happy!
ive been having this clipper for a while but when i dropped it the blade/clip broke off and well wasn't able to clip back on. so that was a while back i've looked at beauty stores and all but they have them for $22+ and some stores dont even carry them at all. seen these for a more of a better price read the reviews and decided to go with them and they arrived 5/28/13. i'm excited to use them since i haven't turned them on since the break. different color than the picture, black which matches the peanut clipper perfect fit and clip on. thinking about ordering 1 more for a just incase..lol.. u never know.
Worked perfectly! A lot less $$ than the locals could sell it for. I use the peanut trimmer on my Miniature Schnauzer pup. Unfortunately, they don't stay sharp very long but it is cutting dog hair not human hair so I can knock it for that. Cheaper than buying a new Peanut for sure!
I had a broken dent in my trimmer and I decided to buy a new one. This part save me money. It works perfectly. I don’t have to pay full price for a bran new trimmer. I encourage you to try this part
Went back to authentic Wahl after purchasing a poor quality generic version. Works perfectly. Very sharp.
