Bought this for my daughter. She has KP (keratosis pilaris) which causes unsightly bumps and cysts on the back of her arms. If anyone suffers from frequent ingrown hairs, razor bumps, etc.. Please do your skin a favor and give this a shot! I was shocked at how in just one use it was able to exfoliate so well. The bristles are painless but are also sturdy enough to get rid of a good amount of dead skin. I had a razor bump and it was one of those really big painful ones that take forever to completely go away and as soon as I started scrubbing away at the sucker it started to diminish. This is one of those tools you do have to use consistently to keep seeing prominent results and this bad boy will definitely be apart of my weekly routine at least twice during the week. The one and only small issue is that the water does get trapped inside but once you leave it faced down for about 5 mins it dries completely.
I was hesitant to buy the product as it seemed like a soft silicon product. Upon arrival, i noticed it was not really soft but a hard soft. I used it and boy was i wrong, as it really did the job of exfoliating. If you have sensitive skin i would recommend to start gentle as this is not for the faint of heart. If you are needing something that really gets the dead skin cells off then this is the product to try, sensitive Sallys beware.
I bought this product to help treat my keratosis pilaris (pretty severe). In addition to a special KP body wash and lotion, I purchased this brush to exfoliate my afflicted areas. Although I think the body wash and lotion help, I REALLY think this exfoliator does most of the work. I've used body scrubs, luffas, and even pumice stones to exfoliate in the past with moderate results. I've been using the Coolife brush consistently for 3 weeks, and I've noticed a significant difference in the texture of my skin. While it can't do much for the appearance of my skin (blotchy redness, etc.), it has made it silky soft which is something I've never experienced before with my condition.
The brush itself fits easily in your palm and the handle makes it harder to drop it during use. The bristles are VERY stiff silicone/plastic. This means that it definitely does a good job of exfoliating. However, it is also rather uncomfortable and not at all a gentle means of treating KP. Those with super sensitive skin or low pain tolerances should really stay clear. Otherwise, the product is exactly as advertised, and I'm really pleased with the results!

I have had this item in my saved for later file for a while, but after I kept reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I am not disappointed in my choice! I will say, you can tell after the first use that it works. I have used it about 3x a week, and so far: no ingrowns, and skin feels smoother. I have read the other reviews about how it feels on your skin, but I have "thick" skin as some would say, so it doesn't bother me. If you have used a body brush before, very similar and you shouldn't have a problem on how this feels on your skin.
this thing is awesome! i have always had some "bumpy" skin on my arms and thighs, after one use i noticed that they are much smoother! i've been using this once a week in the shower with a moisturizing body wash and my skin feels much softer. i even use it on my face, VERY GENTLY. I didn't realize i wasn't exfoliating enough until i started using this. just remember to be very gentle with it.
I had my doubts. I mainly bought to exfoliate bikini line without nauseating smelly sugar scrubs and adding another beauty product to my subscription budget. Best Buy! Glad I read reviews that said let it soften with hot water because it’s initially a bit abrasive but it works even on thick curly (down there) hair and I love it. It’s gentle enough I’d buy another for facial exfoliation. Totally recommend.
I used this together with an exfoliator scrub, which is probably too abrasive for most people but I loved it. It hurt a little bit but felt like I was scratching myself all over a whole area all at once. I used it on my arms and legs and noticed a big improvement in ingrown hairs with just one use.
I have Kp and I have tried multiple creams and scrubs that did not work. I use this brush along with an aha body wash and it is amazing. My skin is the smoothest that it has been in years, I also noticed that the most of the clogged hairs have been freed and I can get rid of the strawberry legs look once and for all.
