All the basics you need. Been doin' my own hair for 40 years. This is my second Whal. First one only lasted 26 years.

Love the guards as they clip on the back of the blade and do not fall off; I trim my beard with these. Solid construction, metal blades - these should last a lifetime.

Great set of professional clippers perfect for haircuts at home. I definitely wanted a pro model since they are sturdier and built for heavier use. After comparing this with all the other pro clippers, I figured the basic model made the most sense since Im a novice using it twice a month, plus the whole idea is to be saving money! So far Ive been very satisified. It clips so much faster, quieter, and cooler than my previous non-professional clippers. Overall I highly recommended the Wahl Pro basic and also suggest you get the Wahl Total Care All in One Cleaner, Lubricant & Coolant.
