I purchased this set as a starter kit. The first thing I noticed as I used the brush was that it was stained and losing hair. Which leads me to believe that it is not true badger hair. The razor was nice and I haven't tried the soap yet considering I already had some really nice soap. Overall not a bad buy for a beginner but I will be upgrading my brush and stand soon.
The razor is very good, close shave and easy to handle. The brush is no so good. it fall apart when using and it scrapes my skin.
Sick of buying and tossing razors all the time, and after watching a Buzzfeed video I knew I needed to buy a safety razor. And this is fantastic!
The razor itself is a good fit for small hands so this is good for women. Easy to open and put the blade in, and easy to clean too. So much easier then the disposable ones.
The brush is fast drying and easy to use, though I did lose a few hairs but it's nothing bad. Don't use to much pressure with the soap and you'll get a nice simple lather. You don't need that much.
The bowl size is hard to judge but it's not to small and not huge either. It's just right. The bottom is meant to help keep it in place but it does move a little. The soap, if you a woman and worried about the smell, does have a soft masculine scent. But it's not powerful at all so don't worry about it.
It also comes with 20 stainless steel blades. I plan to try other types later but so far these work fine.
