I’m new to derma rolling and decided to try this one out for my first go around. I read that .25 was the best length to start out with for general improvement of the skin. The results so far have been fabulous, the results on my wife are real noticeable. Her face is looking better than ever! I decided to try my and it doesn’t hurt at all, it actually feels kind of good. I would recommend anyone to start incorporating this into their beauty routine who want to improve their skin texture. I have old acne scars and from the results my wife has I feel confident I too will be able to improve.
Here are some tips I’ve learned:
- Don’t use this on active acne otherwise is can make it a lot worse.
- For women, don’t use it before putting on makeup cuz the ingredients will get into your skin and cause rashes or infections sometimes too.
- Definitely use this thing with topical serums or creams. I can not tell ho much better your results with them will be after using this derma roller!
- Use .25mm for every other day use. You can over do it if you’re skin is sensitive, but be careful.
This gave me instant results. I had been struggling with my skin post-break out, with discolored marks and red spots left behind. I already have scarring from a lifetime of acne and I wanted to try microneedling since I heard that it can help old scars fade as well as prevent new ones. Since I do a lot of the Amazon ordering in our house, my wife asked me to get her this derma roller. So far she loves it, says it's well-made and definitely works when it comes to how she can feel it. It's easy to use, she can feel it prickling her skin, and is the perfect size to allow her to get around her nose and eyebrows. I see her rolling it for about a minute before bedtime. I told her it's probably a good idea to change her pillowcase often so that her face stays clean at night after using this.
I was very particular about which one of these I bought after reading all the reviews. I decided to go with this one and am glad I did! The needles are needles and not a pointy wheel like some other reviews I saw. It had a medium price range which I thought was worth it, not being super cheap like $6 but not getting into the $20’s or higher. The feeling can be weird and uncomfortable but that was expected. I use it for my serums and toners to really sink into my skin. I also got a vitamin C serum off Amazon to help reduce my redness and noticed a difference after the first use! I would recommend.
This is my first time using a roller so I don't have anything to compare it to. I bought the set with the roller and serum.
Roller: Rolls Smoothly, Doesn't hurt.
The idea of running tiny needles across my face was pretty scary with my fear of needles and aversion to pain, but this didn't hurt at all. It was easy to roll and only required a bit of pressure. There was no skipping or catching. Your face will be red with a slight sting or tingly feel after using the roller.
The roller comes in a nice plastic case for storage. It is a beautiful set. Instructions are included in the box.
Serum: Works on sensitive skin. Very oily. Best after rolling.
I tested the serum on several areas of my face first before rolling to make sure there were no adverse reactions with my sensitive skin. It was fine, but the oil just seemed to sit on my face. When I used it after rolling, though, my skin absorbed it all so I'm guessing that is what it was designed for.
Results: I can't comment on the results since I've only used it once. I have a damaged area on my face from falling asleep with a heating pad on my shoulder. The pad would end up laying on my face so the damage might be similar to sun damage. It looks much older than the rest of my face. I am only using the roller on this section right now.
I did notice the least damaged area near the edges does look better (smoother) after the first treatment.
This was a great value for both the roller and serum. Seems like good quality and like I said it is a beautiful set. I'm glad I decided to purchase it.

It is a great product.

Item arrived promptly and well packed. I'm new to the derma-roller game, so of course it will take a while to see any results, but so far so good -- the roller is very easy to use and is comfortable. If anyone is even mildly hesitant because of the "microneedle" thing, don't be -- you can't feel them at all. Maybe at the most a pleasant tingly feeling. I'm using it with a Vitamin C/retinol serum.
Let me start off by saying that I was EXTREMELY SKEPTICAL at first. Anything that hasn't had some medical studies behind it generally isnt worth my time or money, but after doing my homework I decided to give dermarolling a try. At this point, I've used it only once, but I am super pleased with the results. The experience wasnt a painful one, but there is some stinging and mild discomfort. I did the process with thoroughly cleaned skin and right before bed, that way the irritation had time to recede. This morning, my skin was so soft and luminous, I was totally shocked by the difference one use made. This product was a good investment and I would reccomend it 10/10.
I have only used the roller twice since I've gotten it; I've been using it once a week so far. Despite the length of time using this product, I am impressed with the derma roller and the results. I have well-maintained skin that doesn't typically give me problems, but I'm always hoping to improve. Since using the derma roller, my skin feels smoother and looks better overall. I have been using it with Vitamin C serum and I think my occasional acne is improving. One fear with a new skin product is that it will make me break out. This has not happened at all since using the roller. Even if I don't see tremendous improvements so far, it is not hurting my skin and I look forward to seeing greater differences in the future.
I used the dermaroller and serum Saturday afternoon. On Sunday afternoon, I wore makeup as usual, and cleaned my face and applied the serum Sunday night. This morning, Monday, my face looks more supple and my hyperpigmentation is not as dark, though it is still there. I am at work without makeup and feeling pretty confident. I will use it tonight, and every other night. Hopefully in 30 days my hyperpigmentation and undereye bags will be gone.
