Product works very well and does what they advertise. It's part of my routine for a nice close shave. It does leave a film in the basin more than other products so I need to use a wash cloth to clean it up instead of just rinsing but the minor inconvenience is worth it to me.
I have only used shave oils since I started using a straight razor and this one does a really good job lubricating my face so the razor can do its job. I find that it reduces razor burn, is easy to use and the price is very economical. I use a lot of Col Conk shave soaps and this product also exceeds my expectations.
Nearly at the end of the bottle, and it's lasted quite a while (about 4-5 months). My job requires me to be clean shaven, so I shave about every other day. The oil work just as its supposed to. It lubricated my face extremely well, and my safety razor glided right over my skin and through the hairs seamlessly. The one complaint that I have about this product is that it is NOT scentless even though it is advertised as so. There is a strong menthol odor that you'll notice as soon as you apply the oil. I only bought "scentless" oil so that it wouldn't mess with the scent of my shave soap. 4 stars for false advertising. The product itself works great though.
Smooth, slick, and minty. Convenient bottle. As good as the oil from The Art of Shaving which costs much more. Much better than the Taconic shave oil which costs about the same.
Pro tip: Save the little foil sealing disc so that you can replace over the bottle mouth when traveling.
New to straight razor shaving, but using the pre shave oil and shave soap makes even cartridge razor shaving much better! The oil feels great and has a great smell. It really helps to hydrate the beard before shaving. I live in a high dessert region with very low humidity, this is very nice product to help with hydration.

This pre-shave oil has a slight smell of some type of medicine... Which is not a problem for me... So far... Works as advertised... Arrived on time... No problems with this order... I will buy this pre-shave oil again...
I get this for my husband. Arrives quickly, but the one he really likes is no longer around. This one is ok he says. For the size, it's expensive.
Good stuff here, I have sensitive skin and tried a lot of products before I arrived here.... Now this is what I use. Don't forget to use fresh, sharp razors as well if you're like me with sensitivity

This is the second pre shave oil I have tried and it does the job!. Not much of a Sandlewood scent fan and this is perfect. It’s a smooth menthol feel and preps for shave.
