I have found that cocoa butter is the very best defense against stretch marks during pregnancy. These sticks are pure cocoa butter, unlike many other brands, and are very inexpensive. In fact, I was paying 99c back in the 80's, and these sticks only come out to about $2 thirty five years later! They are even less if purchased in a little larger quantity.
Used just like a push up pop, rub all over your belly, hips, and bra area (can I say breasts here?) twice a day, 3 times if you have time. This cocoa butter is very moisturizing without being greasy, and smooths in easily if you like, and doesn't stain. I used it with all 4 of my pregnancies and have very few stretch marks. My youngest daughter is now 30 and just delivered her second baby and it has worked equally well for her.
Cocoa butter is also good as a facial moisturizer (I use a little coconut oil, smooth it in, then apply a little cocoa butter and smooth that in. My worry lines and creases have definitely decreased since I started this a couple of years ago). These cocoa butter sticks are also great used around cuticles before bed, and soothing on areas where you may have those winter dryness itchy spots. The uses are, well, pretty endless! Just remember, the cocoa butter will melt if you leave it in the heat, so not in a hot car, or in your purse during the summer, and keep it in your carry on luggage - not your checked bags. In case you can't tell, I very highly recommend this product!
I was thrilled to find this brand again because I had such good results with it in the past. I am fairly active, athletic and clumsy at times. Why is this important, you ask? Due to this, I am constantly getting scrapes, cuts, etc. This cocoa butter stick saved me from having an ugly scar on my forehead. I applied the cocoa butter religiously for about a month and had no scar! I still get my fair share of cuts and scrapes, so now I have my ally back!
Check your bedding before climbing in to sleep the slumber of the stupid. Because I did not CHECK MY SHEETS! Just call me Stupid Cat Lady. Apparently I put my ankle on top of a fairly large spider, and as I slowly squished it to death, I can only hope it died a long and very painful death. The first bite had the most venom in it, then with the second, third, fourth bite... etc., etc., etc, ....... went all the way to close to 100 bites before it ran completely out of venom, or I killed it, or one of the cats found it and ate it, I dunno. But after it takes three months to heal, there is a scar... or 100. I have used this brand of cocoa butter awhile back (no, not a spider bite) and it did a very good job getting rid of the scarring. Hope it works for spider bites. Or 100. Update: It works well on spider bite scars! Awesome!
I have allergies & this is the only cocoa butter product that works for me bc there’s no additives or weird ingredients. It really reduces scars down after several months of use (there’s no quick fix!). Used it after surgery & had great results. Used it again in pregnancy & prevented nasty stretch marks. Thumbs up!
Love this product! I recently had surgery on my cheek which left a scar. I remembered after having open heart surgery as a child; my doctor recommended using these cocoa butter sticks on my scar. I ordered the Cocoa Butter sticks this time hoping it wouldn’t irritate the sensitive skin on my face. Not only is this easy to apply, but it is really helping my scar to heal nicely. These sticks are small enough to carry in a small purse or pocket and last a really long time. I really love this product!

I have used this daily since breaking- and resulting surgery on my wrist 7 months ago. . It was at the recommendation of my hand physical therapist. My scar is very minimal; it has also helped with wrist flexibility; it is pure and not loaded with fragrance- simply smells like cocoa butter- not unpleasant. I view this as the only solution to minimizing scarring.
Nothing like a old school stick of cocoa.. real cocoa butter. Great for traveling
I had surgery a month ago and this stick is very easy for me to carry in my purse and use on my scar periodically throughout the day. It softens up and helps with the redness. My scar is healing very rapidly!
Nice to get two sticks for one price. Not as moisturizing as I hoped. Even a little dry. I am going to use it up. Doubt if I will re-purchase though. Smells nice.
I have used this product for years. Best natural healer, I rub it in blemishes to avoid scarring.
