I'm not a huge review guy. I just rarely encounter a product that I'm so impressed with that I take the time to write one. This shampoo (I know, I'm writing a review for a shampoo of all things) is fantastic!!!
I am picky when it comes to shampoo. I want it all. I want it to lather well, clean without being harsh, refresh, invigorate, and smell good. This one ticks all the boxes. I've tried Paul Mitchell, Every Man Jack, all the store brands.... this one is the best for me. IT cleans so well and leaves my hair soft and clean. My hair smells clean longer and my scalp is healthier.
In short, it is a fantastic shampoo. I didn't receive a discount, I didn't get anything for free. I paid retail and feel that the purchase was an extremely good value.

I never really paid much attention to the shampoo I used because I have my hair cut so shot because of the balding. I always just purchased the least expensive product at the grocery store. But, this shampoo sincerely makes my scalp feel 'alive and invigorated'. Smells great too....
I have been using this shampoo for almost 2 months. I still get that cooling sensation on my scalp which is nice, most shampoos I've tried that also do this tend to wear off after a few weeks of use. The peppermint fragrance it emits is also quite pleasant and welcomed.
Whether the product actually helps prevent hair loss, as it claims, is beknownst to me. Nevertheless I am pleased with the product so far.

Honestly the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. It lathers up so easily I only need a fraction of the amount of shampoo that I am used to using. I have used all kinds of products to help with my dry, itchy scalp and this is by far the best one I have found. I noticed a difference the first day I used it. The only downside is it is kind of expensive but since I need to use less to get great results I don't mind. I seriously love this stuff!
I really like this shampoo. Prior to this, I had been using Paul Mitchell Special Tea Tree shampoo, which I also liked. The K&S lathers better, and while I didn't mind the smell of the Paul Mitchell, I like the smell of this shampoo more. It's a minty and clean scent, and as ridiculous as this sounds, I actually look forward to using it. With regard to performance, K&S and Paul Mitchell are very similar. They both do an excellent job of getting my hair clean without drying it out. So, I guess the scent and the lather are the qualities that set this apart from Paul Mitchell. And the winner is (drum roll please)....K&S. Congratulations!
So far so good regarding dry scalp and dandruff. In my case, I use this shampoo a couple of times per week to control dry itchy scalp.
I also use a conditioner after the shampoo rinse without noticing any negative effect on my scalp.
Leaves your head feeling cool and refreshed. Be aware though, if you like cold showers, this will make them seem even colder. The smell is great too. Doesn't last as long as some others, but for me that's a good thing. I usually put on cologne after I shower, so the less competing smells the better.
Would recommend, will buy again in the future.
I bought this shampoo for my husband who gets acne on his scalp. He used to use the aveda men's scalp shampoo but that stuff is astronomically expensive per bottle. I researched many options and settled on this which is available at a much better price point. This has a great scent. My husband says there's been improvement in his scalp although the acne is not eradicated. I'm going to keep trying other products, but this will likely become a staple in our shower. You get a very big bottle for the price--good deal!
