Satin Smooth Calendula Gold Hard Wax with Tea Tree Oil, 14 Ounce

Satin Smooth Calendula Gold Hard Wax with Tea Tree Oil, 14 Ounce

This product worked very well! This was my first time using it and I waxed both underarms, around the navel, chin, upper lip, nose hairs, between my brows, and did a Brazilian on myself. It removed all of the hair everywhere. I bought this because I recently moved away from Atlanta where you can get a Brazilian for $35 and a full body for $65; the place I live now is triple the price. The product was super quick and easy! I used Qtips for my nose with the product and it worked perfectly. Everything except the Brazilian was surprisingly pain free. While there was some pain with the Brazilian, it had been close to two months. But I was able to get the Brazilian done, which is saying a lot. I will be purchasing this product again and recommend it for anyone else looking to start waxing themselves. I bought this product based on a review on a different product page that said Calendula wax had been the best pain wise compared with all of the other hard waxes. I tend to agree, this wax was much less painful than ones I've experience in different salons. And throw in that I was doing it myself this time, kudos Calendula

I am a Licensed Master Esthetician for over 11 years, been waxing for 15, this is one of the BEST waxes on the market. I went through the negative reviews because it was so shocking to see, and it’s clear most of these people are not licensed professionals, thus not trained properly on how to use this specific hard wax (as opposed to strip wax). There are numerous types of hard wax, and each one is used differently! Apply pressure when applying, make sure it’s thick(!), pick off the side you want to pull, hold skin taut, pull parallel with the skin.... here’s the thing, this technique sounds easy but it has to be TAUGHT! Trust me when I say: this removes thick hair, fine hair, is safe and gentle enough to use on all areas of the body, and smells like - well wax! I have Uber sensitive skin and I use in on my Brazilian wax. Want to rip your skin off? Try another wax! Good luck!

Switched to this from GiGis hard brazillian wax due to GiGis not being available one day. Never turned back since that day! Satin Smooth is literally what it says, smooth! It's soft and creamy, making it easy to apply. I have dark, course hair and i use this for my brazillians with no issues.

I was hesitant to purchase this after reading all the mixed reviews. I usually use ceripil hard blue wax and wanted to try something a little cheaper. I decided to give this product a try. It's a lot thinner than what I'm used to so I put it on a little thicker (I'll have to experiment to see if you ACTUALLY need to put it on thicker). It worked wonderfully! It removed all the hair and left a soothing oil residue behind. I would definitely buy this product again.

So, I've tried shaving, cream, sugar wax and even tweezers to remove hair on those sensitive girly parts, but this product is the absolute best. Shaved hair grows back quickly and is prickly. The creams remove hair nicely but it grows back quickly since it doesn't remove the hair root. Sugar wax is messy, requires muslin strips that have to be cleaned and it's easy to burn yourself. And, though using the tweezers usually removes the root, it, of course, takes forever. But, the Calendula wax can be applied at a lower temp, so chance of burning is reduced, it removes the hair roots so takes much longer to grow back, I don't find it as painful as the sugar wax and strips aren't needed. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product and will be buying it again. I did a test spot on my leg and then shaved the rest. That spot is still smooth while the rest of the hair is already growing back. Love finding a product that works so well...

Update.... still using Calendula Hard Wax and still really like it. Just wanted to share something I recently discovered. I've been using coconut oil after I use the product to condition my skin. I found out that if I rub in the oil before I use the wax the whole process is easier.... the wax comes off easier, seems to soften the hair roots so they don't pull as badly (so slightly less painful) and conditions my skin. Just be sure not to use too much oil because then the wax has a little harder time adhering to your skin. I've also used olive oil and it works almost as well.

This works great! I have had this one container for some minimal facial waxing for THREE YEARS ! It is AMAZING ! If anyone writes a bad review they must be using it incorrectly. Know that this is not a microwavable product. It's meant for salon use and says to put it in a heater - like a crock pot thing I think. I just put it in a pan of simmering water to start with,it took a while but was worth it. Much better than the sally hansen microwaveable kind. I got one of those mini crock pots and poured the entire contents in that and just plug it in when I need to use it. It's just finally time to order more after 3 years. You can't beat this stuff !

I love this wax!! I tried several different products and wasted money and time. I asked a professional and was directed to this product. I am very happy with the hair removal and no skin issues but it is kind of hard to get the small pieces off. Maybe it’s my technique.

This is such a great product! It is easy to use, removed the hair, which either does not return or returns weaker. It smells great. It any remains stuck on the skin, it can be removed with baby oil.

A little stringy and u definitely don't want to over heat because it liquifies becoming very difficult to control. It removes coarse to medium hair effectively

We use the calendula wax for removing nose and ear hair. I wont use any other brand. Satin Smooth has the best professional waxes on the market.
