After a very extensive search for a perfect pomade or wax for my short sorta fine hair. I think this is a top choice ! I was looking for something with all natural ingredients with nothing that could be otherwise detrimental to my health aka everything you can buy for cheap at stores nowadays. The stuff is hard and it takes a little push to get it out off and on your hands. I use a nickel size dab and massage it on palms and then apply from back to front on hair semi wet. You will have some of the pomade leftover I simply use it as moisturizer on my knuckles and then wash off whatever i have left on palms. Will leave a slight shine but not a crazy one. Smell is pleasant. Will def keep purchasing from this brand as long as ingredients and formula are not changed. Thanks!
Great hold and one of the less oily oil based natural pomades I have used. Holds great in hot environments, scent is good but not over-powering.
I also like the plastic can as glass ones tend to can break when traveling.
Recommend for those looking for a reliable, healthy oil based pomade.
First off this stuff is great. I have a cabinet chock full of similar products that worked “okay.” Golden is the best so far.
I’ve decided it’s important to me that the stuff going on my hair and hands is natural and ideally organic. Petrolium-based hair stuff like Suavecitto or Dax are just gnarly. Might as well put motor oil on your head.
I accidentally ordered two Goldens. Funny thing is they were both filled to different limits and the color was really different between them. Both smell great and appear to have the same density. My wife says the color varies probably because of a different batch of beeswax. Still doesn’t explain the quantity difference.
