This shave cream is unlike anything I have ever used before. I have very sensitive skin. I have tried about every shave cream, gel and foam out there. The first time I used this I was amazed. It really disappears when you put it on. It doesn't take much. It melts onto your face as you apply it so, don't worry. It hasn't washed off. I just couldn't believe that I was going to be able to shave with this unseen cream but, it made a believer out of me. It was the closest most comfortable shave I had ever had. You have to try it to truly appreciate what I mean. My face has never been happier.
Shaving is a serious issue for me. I have very sensitive skin, which has thinned due to medication I must take. I really have trouble with the area around my mouth and neck. I used a Mach 3 and was able to shave without incident, which is quite the accomplishment for me. I can use a razor with confidence now. Thank you!
Since my initial test with the sample kit I have re-ordered the 2 oz "scented" shaving cream twice now. It is pricey but at the same time I justify the price on the results. A little goes along way with this product. Applied on damp face this product goes on really easy. I do not wait after application and just start shaving. My Mach 3 blade glides over my beard easily. I can shave in 4 minutes flat. There is no added ingredients and best of all this stuff smells great. I highly recommend.
Once I got past the fact that it doesn't lather up, yet works phenomenally I was able to let my guard down about spending $24 for a jar of shave cream. Bottom line is it lets me shave like I have teflon on my face...the blade glides smoothly across my face and gives me a close shave. Smells great and leaves my face feeling really refreshed. Knowing that all the ingredients in this product are as pure as can be expected, plus organic...that seals the deal for me. The jar last quite a long time; b/c a little goes a long way. I'll be buying more.
I've tried a lot of different shaving options, spanning the spectrum of cheap to expensive, and I've found that brushless shaving creams are my favorite. So, my family was watching the show Queer eye and said I should come watch this episode because the guy looked like my best friend. During the episode they used Brickell for his transformation and he looked really good from where he started so I googled it and found the line up. It seemed a bit expensive but I thought what the heck. I ordered the sample box with what I thought I would use. I WORKED GREAT! So I ordered this, the face wash, the anti aging cream, shave cream, scrub and after shave. I was a bit skeptical when I first used it because there didnt look like anything on my face. But WOW! What a shave I had!! I am not sure if it is because I used the face wash, scrub and then shave cream but again WOW! It is, for me the best shaving experience yet! I would recommend this to all guys who shave.
In searching for a men's shaving product that didn't have SLS or anything I knew wasn't good for my health, I found Brickell's products. First trying the aftershave and then this Shave Cream, both products (and all later purchases) turned out to be a high-quality experience, and exactly what I was looking for. This cream applies beautifully, doesn't require that much for use, and gets a close shave. (Hint: leave on for a minute or two to soften a tough beard or when not having shaved in a while). Result: a good shave, an inoffensive, masculine fragrance, and the knowledge that you've just added something natural and a great value to your grooming regimen. I've slowly been adding on more of their products to mine, and I've really been impressed with them all. High quality men's products, nicely presented, with good ingredients that work- and that don't cost that much for what is put into them. The perfect line, and very recommended.
Update: Brickell reached out and offered to send me a replacement free of charge. The new item was as I expect from such a good brand. Classy move by them.
I’ve bought from them before. This time, when opening, I noticed the protective seal came off too easily. Instead of a creamy texture, I notice little moist clumps.
I've used a number of different brushless shave cream products over the years, but none works as well as Brickell's Men's Smooth Brushless Shave Cream. I have never been able to get a shave as close, smooth, and irritation-free as I have with Brickell. Although it may seem a bit on the expensive side, it really is not - as a little bit goes a long, long way. A jar will last you for a decent number of shaves. I like many of Brickell's men's products, but this one is my all-time favorite.
Brickell has to be one of the best skin care companies out there. First this product is different than your ordinary shaving cream. There is no foam to start with, which I appreciate. It smells fantastic. It goes on smooth and keeps your skin smooth afterwards. Also, knowing it all natural is an added bonus to me! Brickell user for life!
