I was looking for a kit to have at home that also was always ready to go when we go out overnight or on a vacation. This is that kit. However, in my search for a ready to go kit, I also had an issue I was looking for a solution to: ITCHY BEARD. If you have a beard, you know the itch I'm talking about. Right on the jaw line under the chin. It was getting to the point where it itches almost every day, probably because of dry skin and my lack of proper quality beard care supplies. I washed my beard with the soap (that smells great, very manly but subtle), then applied the unscented oil and combed it with the wooden comb which did NOT tangle or catch in my pretty curly beard (I tried it dry, pre-oil as well and same result no tangle or pulling). THE ITCH IS GONE, this stuff works wonders on the beard and more importantly the face underneath the beard. Healthy face skin, healthy beard, healthy beard is a happy beard.
The boars hair brush is firm enough to brush the beard but soft enough to feel quite nice on the skin, however mine has a spot of bristles missing and the first initial use has some loose ones fall out. No biggie though, used it a few more times throughout the day and no more fell out.
The balm smells amazing as well. A fresh cleaned sent, with a hint of citrus and just a dash of manly.
The shears are high quality. Trimming hair was easy as trimming hair. I can see them lasting some time before needing a sharpen, worked great on my 'stache as well. Perfectly straight cut, first time, only one cut needed.
So far, I can say for being cheaper than some of the other "high dollar super quality" stuff out there where you're basically just paying extra for a cool label and bragging rights, this brand takes the cake.
When I am getting low on the supplies that come with this kit, I will definitely be re-ordering. I HIGHLY recommend this kit.
Loved the kit! I’m not a big beard groomer but realize if I maintain it, it’ll grow longer and stronger. No bearded hipster here. O_o
The brush and comb run circles around using my fingers to tame the mess!
Add in the balm and oil, and it’s soft, smells good, and has a nice sheen to it.
I’ve trimmed my split ends (sheesh...) with the scissors, and will try the beard wash soon.
As the kids are already trying to pilfer the brush, I’m glad there’s a nice Dopp kit to store and secure it all.
In all, a great selection of beard grooming products, shipped quickly and securely!
This company is amazing. My wife got this for me for the holiday. It was missing items the owner directly texted us in minutes after She sent an email stating the mishap. They overnighted a brand new one at no charge to us! That’s is customer service! I use this daily and it has done wonders. For first time ever my beard looks and feels full, and soft ..my wife actually enjoys the beard now and won’t let me change it. The shampoo and oil are top notch quality and the beard brush and comb are well made. I couldn’t recommend this more.
Overall really impressive set of products. Everything inside tickles my fancy. The highlights for me are the bag, scissors, and the brush. The bag was much higher quality than I expected. It has a waterproof inner lining, I’ll be using this bag for travel from now on. The scissors are the best trimming scissors I’ve used. I actually already had two similar beard brushes, so I really didn’t have a use for another brush. But, the bristles on this brush are significantly higher quality than my other two.
I’ve been using oil and balm off and on for about 5 years now. Both in this set are on the higher end of the various brands I’ve tried over the years. Never used beard wash, and I have actually only used the one in this set once so far. It seems to work well, and has good ingredients, so I’ll continue using it.

I have been using this kit for a little over a week now, and I've seen a change in my beard - thicker, even darker! The beard wash is part of my daily routine now - smells great, and gives my beard texture. Then it's right to the beard balm, which has a natural, rich consistency and finishes my beard out for the day with a nice sheen. These are clearly people who know beards (I assume they have beards themselves!) and know what we really need. Couldn't ask for a more complete kit. I'm big on beard products -- I have about 10 different balms and all the grooming products. One standout are the scissors in this kit - the best I've seen in a kit. And I haven't used any other beard balm since receiving this one. Beard Reverence by name, beard reverence by nature. Buy this kit! Gift this kit! It's the goods.

For too long, my idea of maintaining my beard was washing it with body soap in the shower and running a comb through it occasionally when it got out of hand. This kit has taken my beard to a new level. The beard wash leaves my beard very soft. The oil leaves it soft, controlled, and keeps it from looking like a raccoon’s ass. My beard is growing out nicer than it ever has before. I love the brushes. This kit is legit!
I really enjoyed this kit. The engraved scissors are definitely barber quality. Even unscented the balm and wash smells pretty good. The oil and balm keep pretty good moisture through out the day to where sometimes i only need to oil once a day (usually i do twice). I was pleasantly surprised that only washing my beard with this wash it still felt pretty moisturized and not to stripped of oils as i've had in the past. Over all great kit especially for a new grower; getting all the essentials. The carrying bag is a plus as well. Would buy again. (pictures are pre shower/dry...then post shower washed/oiled/balmed.
For the price, I did not really know what kind of quality I could expect...but I was pleasantly pleased. Everything came nicely contained in a quality box with all items accounted for. When I ordered the kit I thoroughly read the description and read quite a few of the reviews trying to find out if the beard oil, balm and wash contained any ingredients that I did not want applied to my face. The descriptions seemed to indicate that the products contained only natural ingredients with no chemical additives or contents that would dry out the skin...this was indeed the case as all labelling suggested quality ingredients that were very well packaged. Both the comb and brush are of great quality as is the toiletry bag. I am very happy with this purchase and deem it a great 'bang for you buck' considering all I got for my money.
I love the product. If you're looking for something non-scented then this is a great start. Both the oil and balm are very nice to use and the shampoo works great. If there was a complaint to be had it'd be the quality of the oil dripper. The oil dripper itself comparing to others has a steady leak to it without pressure. Which for myself isn't that big of a deal but to someone else it may be an annoyance. As for the comb, it is a very nice feeling comb however only meant for thicker and fuller beards. If your beard isn't that thick I recommend a nice quality kent comb. As for the bristle brush this feels nice. It doesn't feel uncomfortable or irritable to use and really helps when fixing split ends.
Great Product - I delayed writing my review because I wanted to see how the manageability of my beard changed if it did at all as I was transitioning from another brand.
First the presentation and branding are excellent you could buy it as is as an easy gift idea.
There are multiple components that make it a great value.
The beard wash is light and fragrant but not too perfumed so it leaves your beard feeling great with a nice citrus clean smell.
The beard balm is also really light and cleaner than most balms I’ve tried because it’s less oily.
The oil is also great smell and texture/consistency. It’s light and effective.
I usually do a rotation with applying the ball more frequently (daily) and then the oil intermediately (semi/weekly) to keep a nice manageable texture.
The scissors are barber quality, unfortunately i lost them going through Taiwan customs so think that through when traveling.
The comb and brush are also a nice touch bc they aren’t too rough and the comb isn’t too fine toothed which is the case with a lot of others so you end up beating up your beard.
All in all a great product I’d recommend for a competitive price for the offering.
