This is by far the best beard comb I've ever owned. I wasn't expecting my comb to look exactly like the pictures posted on amazon, as most amazon products often don't, but that wasn't the case here. The comb I received looks IDENTICAL to the on in the pictures. The comb has a very nice weight to it, and feels very sturdy. I can tell this is made out of a piece of quality sandalwood. I use it to comb my bear (obviously) and also to help get my beard oil down to the follicles of my beard hair. I have about a 5 inch beard, and every other comb I've purchased hasn't been able to get down to the follicles to distribute the beard oils. This comb has exceeded my expectations in every way. The packaging is so nice that I decided to keep the box, and keep the comb in it when I'm not using it. 10/10 would buy again.
Looks good, smells good, but mine was defective since the whole comb was wavy. Customer service was very cooperative in resolving this issue.
Also, I would like to note that it won't work on super short beards. If we put beard lengths on a scale 1-10, where 1 is stubble look and 10 is full size Santa Claus all the way to the belly kinda beard, I will say it will work the best with 4-10 lengths. Excellent quality overall
I purchased this comb as a gift for my bearded brother. He was one of those that had a plastic comb in his pocket that he only used for his beard.
I bought this for Christmas and it came nicely packaged. It's sandal wood and very nice looking. Overall very impressed with the packaging and quality of the product. My brother has had the comb a little over two months and he still loves it and tells me so each week. The comb has colored a bit from the natural oils in the beard, but it's holding up and much nicer than his plastic comb. A great buy for the bearded men!!
I've purchased several of these as gifts and they never disappoint. I've given one of them to my boyfriend who walks around the house combing his beard throughout the day, everyday! Which I think is a little excessive, but whatever. I've also given one to my brother who has had a beard for more than twenty years, and he said this comb is the best thing he has ever used. His wife said she's caught him several times sneaking into the bathroom just to comb his beard. He uses it several times a day and loves the sandelwood smell. I've just recently purchased one for a friend and he said that it doesn't snag when he combs his beard unlike other combs he's used in the past. The comb is hand made and it looks super expensive which makes them feel important without breaking your wallet. Trust me when I say that if you buy this as a gift they will be talking about how thoughtful you were and they will use it everyday. This comb is the best thing I've bought on Amazon to date. All in all if you know a guy with a beard or are a guy with you need to buy this comb!
Edit: This beard comb performs, looks, and even smells exactly as described. My five star review though is more to do with the customer service of Rocky Mountain Barber Company, more specifically Easy Way Products. As you can read in my original review below, I received a less than stellar product after my initial order. A member of Easy Way Products contacted me immediately after my review posted and assured me the would correct this issue and even rush shipped me another beard brush. As I have already mentioned the second brush I received was great. Excellent customer service!
ORIGINAL REVIEW-----The brush arrived with half the bristles bent and stuck together, which causes snags. The bristles will not bend into correct place. Tje brish os attractive and smells good, but that isnt worth much if it doesnt perform it's primary function. Very unsatisfied with this product and I do not reccomend.

Let me start off by saying this comb has been with me for almost a year now and this comb has done wonders. However once your beard starts to get thick this comb WILL pull hairs out like it is its job (unless your careful). For a man just starting his beard journey when his beard is thin this comb is amazing. I jab gotten countless compliments on this comb, without even showing people ill just pull it put to comb it and people seem to be amazed by it. Is suggest once your beard gets thicker and bigger go to rocky mountains new comb that has different widths cause the fine one in this comb is too much for a thick beard.
Also note that when comb came in the color is way different than what it will be after many months of use. However personally the fade of the wood to me makes it seem more beautiful over time. For my fellow bearded men if you are just starting your beard journey buy this comb, if you already have a decent beard get the rocky mountain comb with wider cuts.
Also dent forget your beard oil and beard balm (it does wonders)
Couldn't be happier with this purchase. The beard comb comes in an elegantly packaged box. The presentation definitely added to my initial experience with unveiling my new purchase. Not being a beard aficionado, I can't speak from experience about what a beard comb should be. In my eyes, I can safely say that without a question the comb I found inside, was a premium beard comb. The comb was sturdy and durable. The subtle smell of sandlewood permeated the air and left a calming, relaxed feeling as I used the comb for the first time. Even the craftsmanship of the product helps to nestle the comb close to the skin, while not being hindered by even the manliest jut of the chin.
Whether you get this for yourself, or as a gift for your fellow bearded brethren, you are sure to make someone very happy. I recommend this to anyone who wants a quality, well-made beard comb. It has managed to help tame my savage beard and I hope it aids you in gaining control of yours.
Gift for my husband Christmas 2015. We had no idea how much of a difference a sandalwood comb would make! It is a perfect size to fit in a pocket, and the included box is actually pretty enough to keep and store it in when he comes home. The comb DOES NOT SNAG OR PULL. He said it actually feels good to comb his beard with it. I did run it through my own hair a couple times, and he is right, it does not catch your hair. I am now looking for a sandalwood comb or brush for myself. This item looks very very nice and comes in a neat little box, couldn't be happier with it. If it ever breaks (heaven forbid) we will be ordering another one for him right away
I've had a long goatee for a while now, but my grooming practices have not been up to par. Once I finally decided to give my beard some care, I used my wife's brush. She finally got tired of me not putting it back where it belongs, so I found this comb. This is very sturdy and well crafted. I liked the box it came in so much, that I continue to use it for storing the comb. The comb does have a strong wood smell, but I dont find that it leaves my beard with that scent like some other reviewers have stated.
This does work great for my beard, but it would have been even better the two sides been different sizes. They may have been different sizes, but they are so close that it's extremely difficult to tell and notice when using the comb.
Got this as part of my boyfriends gift for Christmas and I am very pleased with the way it looks and feels. I don't know a lot about beard combs, since, well, I don't have a beard... But I can tell this is a high quality product. The box it comes in is nice my only complaint is that it has a barcode on the back that says Made in China. Not a sticker you can peel off, its imprinted into the box. I just think that's kind of tacky. But that is my only complaint and it's not a deal breaker.
