Great product for reasonable price. I use it for our autistic son who has exzema and this is the only product which doesn't iritate his skin and keeps it moisture that he doesn't have to scratch from itch.
I have eczema-like skin problems that result in blisters, peeling, and cracking skin on hands and feet. Moisturizers with alcohol tend not to be effective long-term, so I’ve been looking for something to replace the commercial moisturizers I’ve been using.
It feels greasy when applied, but it is effective. The painful areas on my hands are healing, not nearly as painful. The rough, peeling areas on my feet are also improved. It moisturizes well, and the effects are lasting.
This product has a subtle, but pleasant smell.
As an aside, my dog likes the taste and tries to lick my feet after I’ve applied it.
Awesome as a base for balms using essential oils and I use it on my dry diabetic feet before bed- it is great for keeping them healthy.
Shea butter is a good source to use to apply to your skin and hair to lock in moisture. During application, start with a small amount as you rub the product together in your hands to apply because the shea butter is thick
Works perfect on my dandruff and keeps my natural 4c hair moisturized. I only need a little but bc it doesn’t spread like grease, I tend to use a lot. The container is soooo small and adorable, but thick and thin if you understand what I mean. I’ll try my skin later which is rrreeeaaaalllllyyyyy dry and peels. I’ll be back for an update.

Made from the same Karite nut (Butyrospermum parkii). It is processed similarly, but the root of the Borututu Tree (Cochlospermum angolense) is added during the milling process. The root is responsible for the bright yellow color. Borututu is a medicinal plant from Africa.
Although both yellow & ivory shea butter come from the same source, the yellow variety is slightly more firm & takes a little longer to absorb into the skin. The smell is very similar to ivory shea butter, a slightly sweet & nutty scent. The two butters are more or less the same. Some people say that yellow is better for skin conditions like eczema & psoriasis, because it stays on the skin longer. Our preference is for ivory, due to it's softer texture & neutral color. You cant go wrong either way, try both out for yourself & see which one you like better!

I use shea butter as part of a balm for my dogs rough feet. This combined with a few other ingredients has made a world of difference. This product used alone on my hands left a nice soft feel, soaked into ski. well, and has a pleasant scent.
I have bought a lot of different shea butters and this is by far my favorite. The amount you get for the price is great. It's not too hard to work with like most of the others ones I've purchased. Love love love. This is my go to from now on.
My son got some type of skin rash, discoloration, weird skin infection at a water park more then a year ago. We took him to the doctor, the doctor didn't know what it is, but did prescribe a very expensive cream, which didn't help. We spent a lot of money looking on ointments, creams but nothing work except this one. It is great for dry skin as well, but very thick. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
I really like this product. It seems smoother than other Shea Butter I have ordered in past. Arrived well packaged and in time period expected. 😊
This is the only Shea butter I’ve ever used. It’s very hard in the jar but it melts easily in your hands. Super moisturizing.
