Wahl Professional Sterling Li Pro Clipper #8546 Great for Professional Stylists and Barbers Both Cord and Cordless Options

Wahl Professional Sterling Li Pro Clipper #8546 Great for Professional Stylists and Barbers Both Cord and Cordless Options

Bought this as a birthday gift for my Wife. Very sleek, She loves the way it fits in her hands, the way it is light weight*. The only thing was that when She was first using it, you have to make sure that the Clips are up against the clipper before cutting or your cut will be off. Once the clips are in place they will not move, just wanted to be clear about that.
The Last thing is the molding it comes in I believe may fit in a drawer inside a cosmology kit, to keep everything organized and to keep from having to search around for everything. ill have to get dimensions later.

This is an outstanding clipper for crew cuts and cleaning up the neck line. I keep my hair very short so bought several different sets of clippers over the last year and I wish I went with these first. They are much lighter than the alternatives and being cordless is a godsend (at least for my daughter who cuts my hair). I never feel a pull or pinch like I used to with others or at the barber shop. For the neckline we just take the guard off. I'm getting great haircuts and no nicks....and my daughter is 16 with no experience in this so this is one I'm sure most could use.

Got tired of noisy corded clippers. Wanted a quality clipper that I could take with me into different parts of the world with different voltages. This fit that nitch. I cut my hair almost on a weekly basis and this does a great job. Yes, it's expensive, but, what I have saved in paying someone to cut my hair has more than paid for it. I have had it for a couple years now and it works as well today as when I purchased it new!

Everything they say is true. I use it both for the dogs and myself. Run's barely warm, it's quiet, cuts through just about anything like butter, and has plenty of run time. Nice finish. Feels great in the hand. I'm very glad I spent the extra money.

I have wasted time and money trying 6 or 7 less expensive beard trimmers. If you can afford this, it is worth the expense. None of the others I have tried come close. Everything about it is well made, and it works as well as professional clipper/trimmers used in barber shops. It is a little heavier than the others - but to me, that is not a problem. It is solidly built, comfortable to hold and use, holds it's charge, and works efficiently with fewer passes to catch stray hairs. International travel will not be a problem as the charger works on both 110v. and 220v. All in all, I am well satisfied.

This clipper is larger than I expected, but also feels sturdier than others that I've used. If using as a dry shave clipper, it doesn't get quite as close as my last clippers (the smaller Wahl® Lithium Ion™ All-In-One Trimmer). A couple of good things though. The battery lasts a long time. I can go at least 2 - 3 weeks using this about 5 times a week without having to plug it back in. And the built in trimmer head is adjustable, so I can get the close trim on the sides and adjust it out to also trim the goatee without having to put a plastic guide on it.

Most cordless clippers are weak and shoddy. Not this one. It has a powerful lithium powered motor and an excellent adjustable blade. My only complaint is that the handle is a bit too smooth. Putting some kind of grippy cover on it would be a good idea. Maybe those stick-on things you put on the bottom of the tub?

I bought this to use as a beard trimmer. Nice that it has adjustable blades so that i can manage scruff without an extra attachments. The blades are supersharp, enough so that I need to be careful not to cut myself when shaving. Its a bit expensive but I think worth the price, just be very careful when using it near your face.

After going through a number of "consumer" level hair trimmers, I find this one a joy to use. I've cut my own hair for the last dozen years, resolving that once the spot on the back of my head was exposed, I didn't need to attempt to hide my hair loss through longer length hair. With the trimmer set to 1/2" or so, I set a mirror I can see from our shower stall and can get a pretty decent haircut while all the hair drops on the shower floor. After I pick it up so that it doesn't clog the drain, I can immediately shower, thus avoiding the "scratchy neck" syndrome that always accompanied in-shop haircuts. It's not all that stylish, but as the hairline recedes, I don't worry a great deal about "style" and certainly enjoy the $20 - $40 savings with each haircut. I figure this Wahl will pay for itself in less than a year, while I have the opportunity to use a well-designed and effective tool.

Bought in 2015 for $166. Expensive? Yes, but after 3 yrs the only thing I have done is apply cutting oil to the blades after each use. It cuts as good today as it did when new (very quick cut without any hair pulling). Used to spend $15 a month to have a barber shave my head, paid for itself after 1 year.
