So you are probably thinking why would someone spend 15 dollars on some fancy shampoo? Well let me tell you this isn't some gimmicky mumbojumbo this is the real deal my beard is fuller, cleaner, healthier and most importantly smells great. Thanks to Spartans Den for creating such a great product this stuff will make any beard into a beautiful display of manlyhood for all to see. And I paid for this stuff I didn't get it for free.
I was using regular shampoo on my beard and found out that was the exact reason I was itchy and had dandruff. Looked around and settled on this product. I do not have a huge beard, just above a 3 clipper I would say, but it will drive me crazy. This solved the problem. No itch, no dandruff. I cannot to speak to growth or softness, but I really didn't care about that. I use 2 squirts daily in the shower. It smells so amazing. Seriously, I would but cologne from these guys. I highly recommend to anyone who has facial itching and dandruff due to a beard. Will be buying more when I run out.
UPDATE: They changed the bottle and the formula is a little thicker, both for the better. If you want the good scent, make you try Legend. This classic formula doesn't really have a scent. Some might like that, but I prefer the Legend smell.
I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and it has done a spectacular job in taking care of the unsightly beard dandruff that left my shirts looking awful. This is the first beard specific product I've used. I purchased Spartans Den oil and balm as well but haven't used these products yet. The scent isn't very strong to me and I like it. As someone mentioned in another review it doesn't seem to last long after rinsing, might be that I go nose blind to it at that point. My beard does seem a little softer. The shampoo does lather fairly well, and it looks like a clear watery gel when it comes out. I'm not sure about the claim that it promotes beard growth at this time. I did trim my beard fairly short before using so I could get the product to the root of the problem and get the situation under control as quickly as possible. If I do notice any growth promotional effects I'll surely update this review. Over all I recommend this product...as with anything, results may vary.
As a bearded man who wants to take care of my beard, I decided I needed to start trying beard shampoo. I did extensive research into many different kinds and finally decided to try Spartan. The scent is very subtle, which is perfect for me. The shampoo itself lathers well and you really don’t have to use a lot to cover your beard. Honestly I would have given this a 5 star if not for one thing. The picture clearly shows a pump, which got me excited to use in the shower. However when I got mine, it just had a top that pops open. I know it isn’t a big deal, but it was a little misleading. Overall though, I highly recommend using this amazing product!
As an individual who makes their own beard oil and beard balm, I like trying other products to see how it works with my homemade products. Spartans Den seems to do a pretty good job in the areas it is designed for. It cleans my beard, and seems to help with itch and beard dandruff. I'm not sure about promoting beard growth, as I've not seen any noticeable change at this point, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to help promote a softer beard, as I've found I've had to use more oil than normal on my beard to help maintain softness on days when I clean my beard with the Spartan Den beard shampoo. It if helped in this area as well, I'd give it a full 5 stars. If you're not worried about softness, this is a quality product, especially as it only takes one pump from the bottle to clean my entire beard, and my beard currently measures in at 6 inches.

It feels like it does a pretty good job of cleaning and lathers pretty well. 4* because I would have preferred something a little more subtle on the scent for a wash. It's kinda musky, like a cologne. The scent doesn't last long after rinsing it out so that's a blessing. I'll finish what I have and would consider buying again in a different scent
I ordered both the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo was opened and a mess in side the bag when I got it, but I'm still giving a 5 star review. The shampoo seems watery, is that normal? Or a result of it opening during shipping? Either way, the combination has worked extremely well for me I'll be ordering more. My brother tried it as well and promptly ordered his own. Even though I was initially disappointed when I realized the shampoo had opened and caused a small mess in the bag. The results after using the product for a couple weeks more than make up for it.
as a chef i had dandruff in my beard and stache because of heat constantly drying out my face. I tried this stuff and within a week my dandruff was gone. I stopped using it for a while and when I needed it again it worked instantly. this is the best beard shampoo out there.
I really like the product itself, it felt organic to use, except for the scent. My skin on my chin actually feels cleaner and non irritated. My only gripe is that when I recieved it 1/4 of the bottle was gone due to spillage from transit. Suggestion would be to use a closed cap and seperate the dispenser.
I have only been using this item for about a week and I really like it. The smell is very masculine and i will be buying the conditioner next. I would definietly recomment this product to any guy with a beard. Yes you can just used ordinary shampoo, but you took the time to grow a nice full beard you should invest in it. Good products = great results....
