Got this for my boyfriend and he loves this! He was wanting to grow his facial hair and this product has been amazing. He has so much fun styling it he actually also gets compliments from other men asking what he uses. This product has been a huge confidence booster for him I love it!
Let me start by saying I have a drawer full of oils and balms and I have tried so many I cannot count. I liked the looks of this kit and wanted to get some beard care Christmas gifts this year so I rolled the dice on this one to test it out. I like the idea of it being in a tin...keeps everything nice and tidy. You do get the wooden comb that helps distribute the product fully through your beard. On to the good stuff...The oil first. Apply this first to add much needed oils to your skin as your beard grows it will suck your skin dry..This oil is a cocktail of essential oils. However the Olive is the most predominant smell. There are no added smells in the oils. Just all natural. The balm has a flowery smell to it...not really what I expected but after a few days it has grown on me. Its very dominant...so if you want something that doesn't over power your cologne then look elsewhere. Put some balm in your hands..run in through and over your beard to calm those fly aways and tame it down ...conditions the beard as well to keep from getting split ends as your beard gets some growth. Over all I like the product..The smell is "ok" I can wear it but not everyday. The neat tin can is an added bonus and makes for a great gift this Holiday season. For the price I would buy it again. 4 stars from me...I like it...its just my own personal opinion for liking more manly smells in my beard.
I bought this for my boyfriend since he decided to grow this grizzled Adam's style beard. And of course being the loving girlfriend that I am....this lovely gift for Christmas has happened. I am happy to announce thanks to this product he now has the most majestic beard anyone has laid eyes on and soft to the touch.
It is awesome! I bought it for my husband for Christmas this year. He has never used beard oil or any other beard related product. When buying something I have never bought/used before, I read a ton of reviews on different products. It took me about an hour to decide on this one and I am SO happy I did. My husbands beard looked absolutely amazing after the first use. The smell is great. A neutral smell, not manly or flowery, either. A very fresh and clean smell. I absolutely love it and I am super sensitive to smells. He loves it too. The wood comb felt very good on his beard. I am a little disappointed, however, that the tin box came dinged up - like someone slammed it on the ground.. Of course I am a woman and have more attention to detail than my hubby (he didn't care) but giving a gift I would like it to look nice and I was hoping he'd be able to keep it for storage and traveling.

It must be the olive fruit oil that gives it this gentle, uplifting scent. It's a scent that most guys would be happy to use, especially those who already like using natural products.
The beard balm is in a gorgeous, hinged aluminum tin that matches the outer tin. The scent is different from the oil. It's a bit stronger, and it smells similar to baby powder, but that is from the sandalwood scent.
Overall, this is a great beard care set that other guys may be envious of. The invigorating plant oils and natural butters should really moisturize and soften your beard and skin, making it more manageable and healthy. The balm and the oil can both be used on your facial skin and on your scalp and head hair. The natural ingredients are multipurpose, and they would be beneficial to a man OR a woman. I got this as a gift for my stepson--he loves his beard and I love natural products. He usually makes fun of his sister and I for being into the natural beauty stuff, so it was a bit of a backhanded gift.

Still, surprisingly, he ended up loving it and uses it fairly regularly. He says he is not sure it does anything for the overall condition of his beard, but it looks better maintained and nicer on the days he does use it.
If I were a guy or if I had facial hair, I would use it. For the price, it is a really nice little set and makes a great gift for any guys with facial hair whom you have trouble buying for.
I bought this for Christmas for my fiancé. He is ALWAYS complaining about his beard hurting (lol). He was having trouble getting moisture to the skin under his beard. I didn't want to put alot of money into my beard care right away, so this set has been great for my intro into beard care. Great product, my wife says she can tell a difference in how soft my beard is now= extra hugs and kisses.
