This was the second brand I tried out (the other being Oliver Rocket) after falling in love with the Dr Squatch pine tar, and quickly falling out of love with it due to the insanely high price, compared to other brands now saturating the market.
I have been learning that with this type of soap— as with nearly anything else in life— you get what you pay for. Dr Squatch is top dog (even being completely uneconomical), Oliver Rocket is close second, and this brand right here lands in third place.
While the scent is what most would consider a little mild (compared to other brands), it was not as strong as I had hoped. This is just my personal preference; I’m sure the scent strength is just right for some.
It’s still strong enough for others to notice, even an hour or two after a shower, so maybe I’ve just been spoiled by having tried two brands before this, both with a strong scent.
Performance wise, it’s spot on. I get the clean I expect from this type of soap.
And really, the price is the lowest you will find. That alone is enough for me to keep it around, for times when I run out, or want a milder scent.
Good soap for bearded men. Had a bit of dandruff under my man mane and this did away with that first wash. Beard feels great, skin too. Other reviews question if this bar has pine tar. You can smell it, however the other ingredients cover it so it's not as pronounced. Masculine scent.
I deal with livestock, mainly hog houses. I have used several different soaps and body washes to eliminate the animal odors. This product is by far the best that I have used for that reason. It lathers as good as body wash and leaves the hair and skin very smooth. It is also very inexpensive. I love it ,thank you
Has earthy smell. My husband really likes. This is second order in six months. He even washes his hair with it and it makes his silver hair yellowish. Yuck! I insist he uses shampoo after.

Smells good. Lathers good. Nice skin feel. Great price. Amazon stopped doing 3 and 5 bar deals on dr squatch pine tar so I decided to try this.
My wife had the bright idea of using my Pine Tar bar in the shower last night, even after I had strongly advised her against it. This morning she woke up with a fully grown beard and her chest hair seemed to be thicker than usual.... I tried to warn her

I bought this soap for my husband after having previously tried Dr. Squatch’s soap. Besides being less expensive, this soap did a great job softening his rough hands and also helped with repairing his sun-damaged arms!! Best yet, I love the smell of it!!!
