This dryer is waaaay better compared to the original one, it's not even a comparison. Good for them (and me) for upgrading. It's more awesome for a couple reasons, the comb attachments DON'T come off super easily, even if you go over say one tangle you missed, it's there securely to stay. This is by far the best feature on here, the lock feature. Although I will add I only use the detangling comb and honestly I could care less about the other two combs, this one does the job right the first time so I don't really see the point in using the other two, even though I think the brush is more for styling I guess. I've super thick hair and when I used the regular conair 1875 it took forever to blow dry my hair and the attachments came off with one single comb-through no matter how much I detangled it beforehand, it was extremely annoying and I dreaded blow drying my hair after a wash for that very reason. Now I can get it done twice as quickly because this comb is super strong and secure whereas it won't even budge, even a little. I used it today and got it done way faster than usual! Also I've noticed I didn't lose nearly as much loose hair while/after I was done, it's like the comb helps with the breakage. Anyway this blow dryer is awesome, especially if you have ethnic hair this will do the trick. Yeah it's a little more pricier than the other one but totally worth it, I'm super glad I tried it. I usually don't even leave reviews because I'm too lazy or I never feel like it but I decided to do one for this product, it really deserves it. haha I didnt even mean to make it this long but oh well
I buy this blow dryer and keep an extra on hand regularly. It is the best. I have very curly hair and with the brush attachment I can blow dry it perfectly straight. I could never use the kind of blow dryer you use with a round brush. That kind leaves my hair frizzy and tangled. Too uncoordinated I guess. I've used this kind of blow dryer since they came out. This particular model lasts a long time.
I use this on my 4C hair. It makes me hair straight very easily. much faster than using a hairdryer and comb separately. i use heat protectant so i haven't gotten any breakage
I think this is "the one"! I have used some version of this thing forever because I love the ease of drying when the brush/comb are attached to the dryer. The last few I had were non-pro versions that I bought in the grocery store for maybe half the price of this one. They didn't last, overheated constantly, and the attachments fell off alot. This one definitely feels sturdier. The attachments are attached differently and I think they will stay on better. It has not overheated once (hopefully, that will continue - it's still pretty new). Best of all, this one dries fast and straightens really well. I am very happy I found this one.

Stronger (thicker plastic) attachments that lock in place! Even bristles on brush attachment are firmer. Hot, warm, and cool settings with high, medium, and low temps. Have used a different brand of this style dryer for years and had many problems with the attachments that are obsolete with this infiniti pro style dryer. Used for my daughter's natural hair and greatly reduced drying time.
I love this hairdryer. Finally, a hairdryer that doesn't overheat, the bristles on the brush aren't too soft to go through my hair and has two comb attachments. This sort of hairdryer was popular in the 70's and I used the one I had then to tame and straighten my thick curly hair. Then they all but disappeared. A couple of years ago I found one, but the brush bristles were ridiculously soft, the comb broke and it overheated after less than a minute. I've bought and tried all manner of hair dryers and heated round brush wands, electric combs, etc, with varying results. The Conair Infiniti Pro looked promising so I bought it, I used it and I love it. I can now dry and straighten my hair quickly and style it at the same time without it looking like it has been straightened.
I love the Conair Infiniti Pro. I use it almost everyday for drying or for touch ups. This is my second one. I bought my last one 6 years ago and it was still going strong when I burned out the motor by getting a bobby-pin stuck in it. The Conair quickly dries my hair and leaves it silky. I have kinky/curly hair but with a little argon oil, the comb attachment easily straightens the hair from scalp to ends.
I have used this style dryer for years and they just dont last and blow up(literally) suddenly. The brushes fall off all the time...well if you use these you know what I mean. The brushes are made differently on this and the plastic is thicker. So far so good. i just hope it does not flame and smoke like the last one that died. I hope for the extra cost it lasts longer. The cheap ones should be rechecked for safety!
Left at a hotel. My hair was unmanageable until, I ordered another one. The power is equivalent to a medium blower, I use for styling wavy long hair.
