This brush straightener did exactly what I thought it would do and what I intended it to do: make straightening my hair easier! I washed and blowed dried my hair and then ran the brush thru it quickly, it straightened my hair more than I thought it would in the short amount of time I ran it thru. I'm 100% sure if I take the time to section smaller and not run the brush thru so fast, it'd be much more straighter. I mainly wanted the brush to run they my hair so once I flat iron it, it'd be more manageable. Overall: excellent product, great buy for the money and shipping was fast!

Ok now that I have your attention I will say I LOVE this product. I'm all natural and my hair is mid back so wash day can be a struggle. Now don't expect this thing to get your hair silky straight because it won't but it makes straightening a lot easier. If you're not an expert when it comes to hair you'll appreciate this thing. I was my hair --> section it --> let it air dry or blow dry on low heat in sections --> then take each section and comb through with a regular comb --> brush through with this
If I'm feeling up to it after I run through with a flat iron which is super quick because this brush has already straightened pretty well. I love it I'd buy it again if mine ever breaks
This brush works very well on my mixed girls hair. It takes half the time to straighten vs using a flat iron. Still need to part into pieces and brush it to smooth out tangles beforehand. But we really love it so far !!
I have never written a review, so I really have to love or hate something to make me write.
I was very intrigued by the idea of a hairbrush straightener. I had not bought one because I have very curly frizzy hair and I just thought it would not work. With a flat iron, it takes me at least 1 hr to do my whole head, and my head is barely shoulder length. I was also really worried about it getting the roots, I just didn't see the point of getting one if I'd have to go over the roots with my straightener anyway.
I saw one YouTuber review this, and I decided to finally give it a shot.
The first time I used it, I did my whole head in about 10 min. I was unimpressed with the product, as my hair had way too much volume and it looked dull and lifeless.
After a few more tries, I'd say it almost replaces my flat iron!
I'm able to do my whole head in 20 minutes (not in 10 like I did the first time, that was just rushed and sloppy) and it doesn't look extra poofy once I learned how to use it properly. I've also learned how to get my roots really well. Granted, not as good as with a straightener, but really well nonetheless.
It gets a little getting used to, but it's definitely worth a try. I can definitely say I will be trying fancier versions of hair brush straighteners in the future.
I took off one star because one of the outer (non heating, I believe) bristles broke off the first use. I also was under the impression that it would include a glove, and mine did not (now this is from the YouTuber's words, not this page)

I have straight, fine hair but sometimes it gets weird waves in it that brushing doesn't remove. This brush seems to give me more volume than a flat iron. A word of warning: the shorter bristles have heat so if you touch one with your finger, it is hot but you won't burn your scalp because the longer bristles prevent that. I also tested this brush on my granddaughter, who's interracial with curly hair that's not coarse and it worked fabulously. I didn't want to spend $80 on one of the other brushes like this and I'm glad that I didn't because this one fits my needs at a much lower price
Works great. Straightens hair much like a flat iron would. Very easy to use and you are able to lock the temperature setting quite easily to keep it from changing while using.
Im a teacher so getting to work by 7am is not an easy task if you want to look half way put together. This product made it so i could wash my hair the night before and get out all the waves/smooshes and other side effects of a good nights sleep- Look like i just blew it dry in less than 5 minutes! I have very fine hair and use the lowest heat setting. Its ready in 60 seconds. Love it!
I've only used this once...but initially I can say it works...and smooth's the hair out...the bristles are different too; thicker than a normal hair brush.....and.with a touch of curl if you slant or angle the brush...it's a bit heavy handled...not like holding your flat iron so that takes some getting used to the heavier hold but it's not all that bad...just different.
I read posts of way too heavy?...no it's just a different. And once you set the digital heat and it heats up; READ your directions here...you just push the on/off button once and it locks your heat setting in...some complained it kept shutting off on them as they touched the on/off area near the handle...problem solved...if you just read your directions. :)
my girls loved this product... The one with thicker hair says it takes more strokes through her hair that a regular straightener but if you are afforded the time to stroke through it layer by layer then it is awesome.. By thick hair I mean she has.. crazy thick hair that isn't tamed easily. Hair dressers even comment on the thickness of her mane... But all things considered this is a great product and i have no regrets in purchasing it for my oldest childs birthday. It is used daily and loved.
