Been using the Black Cognac now for few weeks and I am quite happy with the results on hold. I’ve been using Detroit Grooming Beard Butter and while that works great for shine and texture, it doesn’t always keep its hold. The Black Cognac from GiBS smells great and holds awesome. My only issue is it doesn’t seem to come in a bigger can. But that’s ok since you don’t need much at a time.
I use this on the off days I don't oil my beard, just to moisturize my face a little and give it a break. The scent of shea and cocoa is a welcomed break from the typical earthy scented oils and balms you come across. It's pretty oily when you work it in your hands, so it doesn't take much but I will say don't get this confused with a sculpting balm. Again, not an everyday use type deal. I would go with special occasions and when you just want a break from the regular routine. Smells great, does the job well.
I loved the thickness and the smell. Unfortunately I did not carefully read the product info. It contains almond oil, and I am allergic. SO I only got to use it once, and it's difficult to resell used hair product.
I love this stuff! It smells amazing and it works great! It moisturizes really well too. I have been able to cut back on using beard oil from daily to any one of twice a week while using this daily. Definitely worth the $$!
This is my favorite beard balm for when I am growing it out. It smells great.
Nothing else to say really. Smells great and does it's job. If you are looking for some beard balm give this a try!

Apply a small amount to beard and hair. Rub through the entirety of beard and style. Re-apply as needed.
