The "shavette" is perfect for people that are new and curious to straight razor shaving, because it is disposable. Every few shaves, you discard the blade and put in a new one. No honing or stroping needed. The oil and balm are great! The scissors are deceptively great. They do not seem like they will not cut, based on the sound they make. But they cut extremely well! A great set for beginners.
