I shave my head and face, and this does an excellent job at a close shave throughout the day, as well as not dehydrating my skin due to its lack of added scent. My second go to shaving soap is imperial shave soap, but this shaving cream, once lathered with a shaving brush, outshines it entirely. If your skin gets dehydated like mine does from added fragrances and scents, this should be the first shaving cream you try. Ive tried proraso, co bigelow, kiss my face, pacific shaving cream, jack black, colonel conk, and countless other shaving creams/soaps/gels, and this is the only one I highly recommend. Very smooth shave.
Most shaving cream kind of falls off the skin as you're shaving, but this PC4Men shaving cream gets tacky and grips to the skin as you're shaving. I use an electric, so it might perform differently with a regular razor. But It is really cool how it comes out of the tube as kind of a light mousey cream, but as I'm shaving it thickens, and forms a membrane, while allowing the razor to cut through the hair. You really have to rinse it off after you're done, and it leaves your skin feeling very clean. I've used Jack Black Beard Lube, and Proraso and right now this is my favorite.
This product is great and I can 100% recommend it. It is just the right consistency. I use it everyday to shave my head and face and have used this for over a year with no irritation or dryness. The only real negative is that it is expensive, but that doesn't stop me from ordering it again and again. And I guess it is comparable in price to other similar products, but hard to pay when compared to regular shaving cream you get at Target. Also, just a tip, when you start a new tube, take the foil off when your hands are dry otherwise the overhang tab will end up ripping off, after which it painful to get off. But I'm glad they seal it with foil, as it gives me a feeling that it hasn't been tampered with and hopefully increases the shelve life
This is honestly the best shaving product I have ever used. From high end to low end products, I have tried many. This is by far superior because of the closeness of the shave it provides. My skin also has no irritation when I use this product. It rinses easily from the razor blade and my blades also seem to last a little longer. So glad I found this shaving cream and will continue to use it!
I have been trying different shaving creams just because they are cheap and I want to compare them to see if there is any significant difference. This one is a keeper.

Great shaving cream/gel. I get razor burn so bad after shaving. In have tried every type of product and tried every which way to shave.

The Paula's Choice PC4Men Shaving Cream provides great uniform dual layer coverage, remains effective during use and is unscented and otherwise low impact. It is a good skin care product for sensitive and vintage skin!
This works well for application and for a smooth shave. I tried several products in the last 6-8 months after joining Dollar Shave Club (which I still continue with for razors).
Use regularly on my face and head. Never break out from this. Great product.
