At first I wasn't a huge fan of this product but I have greatly warmed up to it. It provides excellent lubrication/protection for those who use an open blade. I also find it well suited for safety razors as well. It is some crazy-slick stuff.
I would put this on-par with the best brush applied puck-style shave soaps. This alone should be enough reason to consider it, but what really sell it is for me is the lack of necessary prep time. After a shower, I find three pumps provides enough protection for a close shave from a straight (or safety) razor with no irritation.
Very pleased with the quality of the soap and closeness of shave it produces. Good product . . .
I have used this product for a while and am really happy with it. My son gave me a bottle of the Sandalwood scent and since then I have switched to Bay Rum. East to use and works great.
I have been using this product for nearly 4 years now, it is amazing! Lathers up nicely, provides a smooth glide and allows for the closest of shaves. Far superior product to any other shave system!
I met one of the creators of OPR at a women's convention in Michigan a few summers back and he convinced me to give this shaving soap a try. I didn't care for the women's scents as much so I got the Bay Rum scent. Wow. Shaving cream has got nothing on this! I shave *everything* with this soap and it's made shaving so much better. No dry skin, smells good, not as messy as shaving cream, and lasts a long time (7-8 months for me!). Thanks to OPR for making a fantastic product that I will continue buying:)

Have been using a Norelco electric razor for years and have tried lots of shave creams. This is by far the best, delivering a much closer shave and it's smooth.
This stuff smells amazing! Can't wait to shave with it!
