This product is great to add just a little to the hair to give it body and gloss, and keep it from drying out. I use a hair gel to keep my hair where I want it. But, I use this for the aforementioned purpose. It smells nice and you don't need to use much. A lady barber put me on to this a few years ago, and I have not been disappointed.
