Eve Hansen USDA Certified Organic Argan Oil (1oz) | Pure Moroccan Argan Oil for Hair, Skin and Nails | Carrier Oil, Face Moisturizer, Body Oil, Dry Scalp Treatment and Hair Oil for Dry Hair and Damage

I have been using Argan oil for awhile and ordering from somewhere else for considerably more money. I decided to give this one a try based on positive reviews and so far, so good! This oil smells wonderful and absorbs into the skin quickly. I love Argan oil for so many things... I use it once weekly for an oil treatment on my hair and scalp, simply rub in a few drops at a time until scalp and ends are saturated and cover with a plastic hair cap. Wash when ready. Listed below are a few more of my favorite uses for Argan oil.

*Add a few drops to your astringent/toner bottle. Shake well before using.

*Make a homemade body butter for beautiful skin
1 cup Organic Coconut oil
3 TBS 100% Shea Butter-- melt coconut oil and shea butter together in microwave then add
2-3 droppers of Argan oil
1-2 drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)-- stir well and store in a container with lid.

*Natural Body Scrub
2 cups white or brown sugar
1 cup olive oil
2 droppers of Argan oil
1-2 drops of essential oil (I like tea tree oil in this one)--Stir together and store in an airtight container. You can use this same recipe but substitute epsom salt for sugar for a great foot scrub!

i absolutely love this product. It’s 100% pure Argan oil and it’s very much legit. I use it twice a day, I use it with a few drops mixed with a few pumps of my primer and moisturizer before I apply my make up. Not only has it made my skin look and feel like satin, I’ve had no break outs, my acne scars have started to fade very quickly and it’s helped my skin heal with my PCOS acne of doom on my neck Area and it helps my skin stay hydrated. I’ve used it to help heal a horrible embarrassing case of Angular Cheilitis. I use it on my cuticles, sometimes I mix it in a tiny bowl with my rose water toner and apply. The uses and benefits are endless. I’m forever a customer, I’ll be buying again!!!! This brand is exactly equal to Josie Maran’s Argan oil and Drunk Elephant, Minus the cost. Zero complaints, zero cons. Argan oil is great for also firming and tightening the skin. I used it alone at first but now I mix with a moisturizer twice a day. I’m 34 so my skin is going through that lovely change and it’s more dry now than it was in my teens and 20’s. The oil is very moisturizing, it does set into your skin fast, and it is known as a dry oil but it still feels very silky and amazing.

I really like this oil as far as moisutizing, being a carrier for essential oils, make up remover, etc. Eve Hansen products ain't cheap but the ones I've tried have been good quality and last forever. Unfortunately it didn't help my adult acne at all. I would recommend trying the below products first if you're trying to clear your skin!

As someone dealing with adult acne for the last two years, I was desperate for something to help my skin! I've tried countless creams, serums, peels, masks, washes, sprays, essential oils, etc until my wallet cried.. and NONE of them helped! My skin was horrible, inflamed, utterly embarrassing as a working adult, and painful to boot. (The kicker was many days it hurt to smile! If you've been there you know how discouraging this is!) My skin was so terrible a coworker anonymously left proactive on my desk at work (the turd!!).

After countless wasted dollars and months of frustration I've FINALLY got my skin under control and milk thistle was a huge part of that. I'm sharing what has worked for me in hopes of helping other people who H A T E their skin.

-Topically, I ONLY use Niacinamide Vitamin B3 Cream Serum 5% by Skin Daily. No washing, no scrubs, no masks-- pretty much caveman status. A drop goes a long way so the bottle will last a while. I'm never oily when using this unlike a lot of other products I tried. It's really improved the texture of my skin, smoothing and plumping (is that a thing?). I think it has also helped with some of the hyper pigmentation as well. The only other topicals I like as much are aztec/cider vinegar face mask and honey/cinnamon/nutmeg mask. I used to do one of those masks EVERY DAY in hopes of a miracle for my skin :( but now I don't need them. Unfortunately it is a little pricey but if you're like me you'll pay whatever it takes (well, maybe not a yacht) to have clear skin.

-Internally: Every day I take gaia milk thistle (to fight inflammation---game changer!x3), nature' way alive! women's multi (warning it tastes super nasty but is bearable with fruit juice x3), align probiotic (x1), and naturemade fish oil pills (x3). Nothing helped me clear up like taking these supplements! I would say I am 95% clear on them and improving.

Before these I cut out bread, potatoes, pasta, chocolate, dairy, and most other glorious foods in hopes of helping my body to no avail! I tried vitex/chasteberry, inositol powder, fermented cod liver oil in cinnamon tingle (still puking), synthetic vit e, maca root, hyper biotics, opti-women, turmeric, and countless more with little to no success.

These days I am still conscientious about what I eat but not militant about food like I was when my skin was so horrible. Sugar and caffeine make me more inflamed so I do moderate my intake of those. If you can do nothing else I would recommend the gaia milk thistle. (Amazon has the best price I have found-but if you're desperate Whole Foods has it for like $40). Anyone with serious acne has an inflammation problem that they may nor even know about, and the milk thistle was huge in getting that under control for me- my skin was WAY less red and inflamed within days of starting it.

I hope this helps anyone with skin issues looking for an alternative to meds or BC or SA/BP for managing their skin issues :) Best of luck getting clear!

I bought one bottle first to try it, its really good, I even stopped buying my Clarin's cream for this, my skin is softer and even some dark spots on my face are vanishing. I recommend it

I actually went to Morocco and purchased 100% Pure Argan Oil there. I like this product much better. I use this on my skin-sensitive face and have absolutely no problems. It seems to be a more refined oil than the oil I bought in Morocco. This oil isn't oily and blends into your skin anywhere on your body, hydrates your skin without leaving an oily film. This is the second bottle of this product that I have purchased from this company. Also, did you know that Argan Oil used to be made by digging out the Argan nuts from goat poop and processing them by hand? I didn't either. Thank goodness, the Moroccans have found a way to produce oil from the Argan nuts from the actual tree instead of digested nuts from the goats!

First argan oil I've ever used, so I can't offer brand comparisons. But I do know this stuff works as far as clearing the skin and imparting a glow. For whatever annoying reason, I was getting zits on my face occasionally (I thought I had aged out of this!), and I make them worse because I tend to pick. This argan oil healed the spots in record time and smoothed the skin so much that there was no roughness for me to pick at. A couple weeks after starting the argan oil (and after it had cleared my skin), I commenced using a retinol product, and though that product is marketed as a moisturizer, it leaves my skin too dry (typical of retinol products on dry skin), so I follow with the argan oil. That arrangement seems to work for me.

Update, Feb. 16: I'm still impressed with this product. And I speak as someone who is not the least bit "trendy"; I do not jump on bandwagons, and my reaction to change is usually reluctance. But I thought, "If it's 100% guaranteed, why not try it?" I'm older, and I use more than the recommended two drops because my skin is so dry. But that regimen is definitely paying off; my skin looks better than it has in a very long time. I just ordered the larger bottle, which is by far the better buy.

Update, Dec. 2: Still working on the 4-ounce bottle I bought in February, and I have more than an ounce to go with twice-a-day liberal usage. I was at first struck by the oil's healing properties, but now I'm impressed with its ability to smooth wrinkles. I didn't like the retinol product I was using, so I dispensed with that but continued with this oil, and I think it's the more effective of the two. The lines above my lips are not nearly as noticeable. I've gone through a lot of different moisturizers in my life, usually luxury brands with big price tags (I'm not wealthy, but my reasoning was, "I can always buy a new pair of shoes or a new dress, but I can't buy new skin"). This products costs so little, and it beats my earlier products hands-down.

Update, May 22, 2016: Only now is my 4 oz supply giving out. I went back to a retinol product and promptly broke out. I'm aware that's a typical reaction, but I started mixing the retinol with the argan oil and found that to work better than applying them separately. Still a believer, and I'm about to order my second 4 oz bottle, which is even cheaper now than when I ordered the first bottle in February 2015!

**update to update**
I decided to keep the oil even though I thought it smelled different than the first bottle I ordered, as I went to several of my local health stores to smell/test their Argan Oils. Turns out most have a similar scent (not sure why my first order had no odor at all) so I decided to keep it and use it a bit before reposting. This bottle feels the same going on and is light and silky, not heavy or greasy feeling. It feels soothing and I use it almost if not every day. I am happy to report that the oil seems to be fine and that the odor must be "normal". I recommend this oil for the quality, price, quick shipping. It should be noted though that I never did get a response from the seller when I inquired about the second bottle of oil's smell and difference from the first. Just something to keep in mind if you have a problem or question arise.

I bought this oil for daily use, mainly on my face, as I tend to have sensitive and dry skin, especially around my nose, mouth, and between my eyebrows. The oil came quickly and packaged nicely. The oil had no odor and very slight yellow tone to it. It feels really lightweight and soft as silk going on. It leaves my face feeling dewy soft glowing without feeling heavy or greasy. I tend to get acne and this does not exacerbate it or make me break out. It is very soothing and sometimes if I have a pimple I even put this oil on it. Still not sure if it helps acne, but it definitely does not cause it or make it worse. I use this oil every night right after getting out of the shower (I just put a few drops in my palms, and press into my face to let it soak in, and then add a bit extra around the eyes and frown lines (oh those dreaded grouch lines!!) I also sometimes use it throughout the day, especially if I have chapped skin or lips. I really am enjoying it as a soft, lightweight moisturizer. Recently, I have started rubbing a few drops in the palm of my hands and rubbing it into the ends of my hair first, then massaging what's left onto my hands into my scalp. I have thin, flat hair but the ends dry out easily so i tried this before bed and rinse it out in the morning. It would probably be fine to leave in if you have thicker, fuller hair, but for me it just looks a little greasy if I leave it in. It makes my hair nice and soft and not so dry on the ends. Highly recommend this oil!
**UPDATE** I liked this oil so much that I ordered the big bottle. It came quickly but I opened it to discover a strange odor that the first bottle didn't have. It smells somewhat like a cheap olive oil and not at all like the first bottle I ordered, which had no odor at all. I wrote the seller about a week ago and haven't heard back from them as of tonight. I will be returning this bottle and will give it another a try with a new bottle. Hope it was just a fluke! Will update again.

I'm a big fan of this argan oil. I've used argan oil in the past that was less expensive and, granted, I may have been using it incorrectly for my skin, but this particular item has performed really well for me. My skin tends to be on the oily side, and a few years ago I read an article about how incorporating oils into your skincare can help lessen sebum production and thus keep you from getting shiny. I made the switch to using just plain argan oil (though not this brand) as my moisturizer and wasn't very keen on the results. I applied about three or four drops to my dry face and found that, while I wasn't getting oily throughout the day, my fine lines became more prominent somehow and my skin felt dehydrated and just wasn't looking that great so I stopped using it after a couple weeks. More recently, I had been wanting to give argan oil another go because I had read how wonderful it is for imparting a glow and diminishing fine lines. I did more research and found that I might have been using too much oil when I applied it before and inhibited the benefits of the argan oil, so I decided to try it once more, albeit in a slightly altered manner. In the last couple of months, I've started adding one drop, and one drop only, of this oil to my normal moisturizer and applying the mixture to slightly damp skin to help lock in the moisture. It's been incredible. That one drop regulates my sebum production just enough that I don't get super shiny throughout the day, but it imparts a glow and smoothness to my skin that I have heretofore not experienced without some type of light-reflecting product. I've also noticed gradual softening of my fine lines (though they have, admittedly, never been obvious to anyone other than me) and an improvement in the slight redness I usually have in the center of my face. And, though I'll always have some measure of dark circles because my eyes are fairly deep-set in my skull, the addition of argan oil to my routine has steadily helped to improve their purple cast from lack of sleep. I'm a huge fan of argan oil, now that I've found my best method for using it.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review because my skin is very finicky. At first, everything feels fantastic. But after a few short weeks, my pores begin to clog and my pimples to form. Or, my skin turns red and finally start to flake off, like after a sunburn. Well, I think I finally found something my skin absolutely loves: Even Hansen's Argan Oil. I have to admit that after a few days using it, I started to break out on my cheeks, usually a sign of an incompatibility with a cosmetic product. But I wanted to keep at it, and a few short days later, all the purging cleared up and are healing beautifully. My normally flaky skin is smooth and soft, and I see less and less clogged pores.
I cannot believe how well this oil does for me. I will buy it over and over again. Frankly, it is wasted on hair - this is oil THE oil for problematic skin.

I am very pleased with this product. It works best for me when I mix a few drops with my moisturizer each morning. I do this for my face and on my hands. This oil came to my attention when I purchased some shampoo that had Argon oil in it. I was so surprised at how different my hair felt. I am over 50 and post menopause and have all the awful symptoms with my hair - thinning, brittle, etc. This oil does not re grow hair but it made my hair very soft - not brittle - and it actually made my hair look slightly thicker.

My next experiment is to mix a few drops in my shampoo and see what that does. I do not recommend using the oil directly on hair. I tried that and it didn't want to rinse out. I also tried the oil directly on my skin and it felt a little sticky at first and I had to really rub it in. Mixing with lotion or moisturizer works best and absorbs very quickly with no residue.
