Smells fantastic and does its job. Noticeable difference in skin irritation when I forget to put it on before shaving. Highly effective product. Aside from that, the container is sleek and luxurious and looks classy on the shelf. (But seriously, it smells so good...)
I was given the product as a gift from my wife who read about it somewhere and told me I had to try it. This pre shave oil changed my whole ritual of morning shaving. The razor glides, the shave is super clean, and my skin feels fantastic all day! I since have bought the whole line of this company's products and now it is a pleasure to shave everyday. I have decided to make a gift of the The Gentlemens Refinery set to all my friends for the Holidays -- by whole set I mean the pre shave oil, shave cream and the after shave balm.
This was a great product that I purchased for a family member based on a very positive set of reviews I read online. The product improved the quality of the shave and lessened nicks and cuts. I would definitely recommend this product.
This is by far the best pre shave oil out their didn't even clog my safety razor
This is my most favorite Pre shave oil. It goes a long way too. It has I nice scent as well. Great for those with beards, because you can see what you are shaving. No nicks either.

This is so far the best pre shave oil I have used. Very good lubricity. Comes off clean with little to no residue, and a fantastic scent to boot! Highly recommended.
I have been using the Art of Shaving Pre-shave Oil for six and L'Occitane Cade Shaving Oil for three years and this one for little over a year. I have been using this one the most and I am considering using this permanently. Well, now I'm trying the Art of Shaving Unscented Pre-shave Gel and that's impressing me too, but the Gentlemen's Refinery Pre-shave Oil is what I keep going back to.
I have been trying numerous pre shave oils, and this one is by far my favorite. Other oils I have tried have either been too light, and don't do anything at all for the shave, or too thick and gunk up my safety razor, making me take it apart while shaving to clean it. Gentleman's Refinery oil is that perfect in between. The one downside is that it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I am currently on a The Art of Shaving Oil that gets great reviews, and at a similar price, I am going through it far faster then I did this oil, it takes a lot more of The Art to actually cover my whole face due to its consistency. Great product, will buy again.
Initially used this product on a cruise ship specialty barber service. It makes a HUGE difference! I don't get as many cuts with this product. My beard is so thick that I have to use 1 single fusion blade Per Shave. At last, something that really makes a difference.
