Just what I was looking for!
Rosemary essential oil has many uses and is a fairly popular oil. It has that classic rosemary smell that I really enjoy. It's a woodsy smell. You can distill it, rub on the bottom of your feet, on the back of your neck, rub in your palms and inhale or smell from the bottle. You can also mix this oil with other oils to make a blend.
Some of the things rosemary can help with are, it can help with indigestion, relieving flatulence, stomach cramps, constipation, bloating, it's a appetite stimulant, helps to regulate the creation and release of bile and it stimulates blood flow and improves circulation.
Regular use of rosemary oil helps stimulate follicles, making hair grow longer and stronger. It's beneficial for dry and flaky scalps. Regular massaging of the scalp with rosemary oil nourishes the scalp and helps removes dandruff. It can be used as a disinfectant and helps in removing bad breath, preventing gingivitis, cavities and plaque build up. It has antimicrobial and antiseptic qualities so it can help with skin conditions like eczema, acne, oily skin and remove dryness, it also helps remove stretch marks, you can mix rosemary into your lotions and use regularly. It also helps with mood, depression, fatigue, forgetfulness, relieving stress, headaches, help with pain relief, boosting the immune system and helps with respiratory problems.
I'm sure there's more it helps with but this is all that I know. I'm very happy with Plant Guru and will buy from them again. Recommended!
Disclaimer, I received this product for free to give my honest review.
I have been slowly adding essential oils to my collection because they can be quite pricy. I have tried several brands ranging from the least expensive to the most expensive. The truth is, it's impossible to truly know if the purity claims are true for any brand unless you have it tested yourself. These oils aren't Inspcted by the FDA, or any other organization unless paid for by the manufacturer. So how do I decide which ones are better than others? Like many things, I go with what I like and what works best for me. If I'm using it for my diffuser, I choose the one I like the smell of the most. If I'm using it topically, I choose based on how well it works for whatever condition or issue I'm trying to resolve. For example, I use peppermint oil for my migraines. There are actually several I like the smell of, but many of them have caused skin irritation so, I choose the brand that does not irritate my skin that also works well for my migraines. Why do I tell you all this? So you can understand the standards by which I rate essential oils. I'm not a scientist nor am I an expert in this area so I'm not going to talk to you about purity. How the heck would I know? This is my first experience with Rosemary oil so, at this time I cannot make comparisons.
I purchased this oil to use in the cleaning products for the home that I make myself because I have read that Rosemary has antiseptic properties. As stated above, I have migraines and also read that Rosemary is a good essential oil for pain. Initially, I intended to create a mix of rosemary and peppermint oil diluted in fractionated coconut oil to use topically for my pain. Unfortunately, the smell of this Rosemary is just too much for me to handle during a migraine so I decided not to create the blend. It's not that it is a bad smell, but I can only deal with certain scents during an attack.
I made the homemade cleaning solution and this worked very well for that use. It's much more diluted than a topical mix would be so the very strong scent is not as overwhelming. Even though I often mix essential oils, I used this alone so I could rate it accurately.
I read several, other reviews that stated this smelled like menthol or Eucalyptus. I do not pick up those scents. It smelled very intensely of Rosemary to me.
Keeping in mind that this is the first Rosemary oil I have tried, I still think this is worth a buy. It fullfills a use for me and I think the price is reasonable. It is a good sized bottle that will last for quite some time.
I received this product at a discounted rate to provide an unbiased review. I was not compensated in any way and my opinions are my own. I am not required to leave a positive review. I depend on reviews when I am considering purchases on Amazon. Because of this, I strive to be honest and informative in my reviews, no matter what. If my opinion of this product should change with further use, I will update my review as needed. As of now, I would purchase this essential oil again. I hope this review was helpful.
Great oil overall. Just as the other purchase.
I usually but the different kind of rosemary separate(Moroccan and Spanish) but saw this and figured I'd give it a try. Seems to work as expected. Would buy again
