Great Oil. For my skin and hair, I'm making the change from Coconut Oil to NOW's Apricot. There's no apricot smell (which I would have loved if it did have that scent), but no biggy. I just bought a 1 ml bottle of Pink Grapefruit oil from another seller (which is Amazing for your hair and skin and smells AWESOME). I take that 1 ml of pink grapefruit oil and pour the whole thing in this bottle. I use a bottle pump that I got with fractionated coconut oil I got a long time ago (they're so handy, I couldn't see throwing it away, and I'm glad I didn't).
What I've Learned:
Be careful when using on your hair...it is Much thicker than coconut oil, so it can make you greasy fast. A little goes a long way
It's AMAZING on hair and skin. Seriously. I've noticed my skin stays clear (I believe it's the mixture of this plus the pink grapefruit) supple and healthy looking. Since using it, I've noticed I have a healthier glow to my face :)
I use this over my entire body instead of lotion and it's awesome. My skin stays moist all day long, and with the grapefruit oil, I smell so fresh and pretty.
OH! and by using it in my hair, I notice that it seems to have a freshening ability. My hair keeps a nice scent for a long time (again, this could be the grapefruit oil).
So, if you get this, I highly suggest trying it with grapefruit oil, they make such a lovely combination.
I am so thankful to have found this oil. I have eczema all over my body from the knees up. The medication I was prescribed only does so much. But if I do not apply oil 3 times a day on my body, I will get flare ups. I have tried many different oils. Coconut Oil is not strong enough. Jojoba oil works wonders, but considering I go through 16 OZ every month, this can be expensive over the long run. After researching I found that Apricot Oil works similarly to Jojoba, but for a fraction of the cost.
After a full week 3 times of day of just my medication and Apricot Oil, I am so happy to say my skin is extremely soft and flare ups are kept to a minimum. I have actually gotten serval comments that my skin is miraculously soft. In which I say, it is apricot oil. I have recruited serval people to order this exact bottle. I will keep doing that. Plus, a few drops of this goes a long way, way more than jojoba.
I began using apricot seed oil as the second step in my nightly skin care regimen (after micellar makeup remover and before face wash from The Body Shop) because I read an article about the fact that coconut oil - often recommended for oil cleansing - does not absorb well due to the size of it's molecules. It actually just sits there on your face, trapping pollution from the air, clogging your pores and causing breakouts. And within a matter of days I started seeing the difference of fewer zits and softer skin. Now, after using apricot seed oil (in tandem with various items from The Ordinary) almost daily for just over a year, my skin is practically flawless.
It's smooth, soft, dewy... and, even though nobody believes me when I tell them, I'm turning 49 in June. So I will definitely keep on buying this stuff. In fact, I use a squirt of it directly after washing my hands, massaging it into my cuticles. And since this has been a very cold winter, I started using this oil on the whole rest of my body too. Unlike coconut oil, it absorbs quickly without clogging your pores and doesn't leave you feeling greasy.
Now of course buying a bottle of oil that gets delivered in the mail comes with the risk of it leaking all over the inside of the box, but so far I haven't had a problem with that.
Overall I'm very satisfied with both the product itself and what it does for my skin.
I love this oil it's a very good moisturizing oil for my relaxed hair I've been using this oil for a little over a year now and I will continue to use this oil until they just stop making it
Trying apricot oil for the first time and I love it. I make my own lotion with Shea butter and a few other oils. Tried this by itself right out the box and it is amazing. It is the lighter than and soaks in faster than any other lotion I've ever tried. It leaves a very long lasting light "glow" appearance and feel on my skin. Will definitely be using in my lotion in place of avacodo oil and can't wait to see how it turns out!

I found this oil from window shopping on Amazon and doing research on oils for my 4a 4b natural hair. I tried this out and this has become a staple. I have dry hair and scalp and I put this in my oil mixture. It helps with softening hair, managing it, retaining moisture, and restoring moisture to hair. I highly recommend. You dont hear about many oils besides coconut oil, olive oil, etc. so this it very refreshing to have.
Also I did try to use it as a facial moisturizer and unfortunately it break me out, so beware of that. Besides that this is a great oil.
I love love love this oil and have purchased several bottles over the years to use on my post-bath/shower skin and mix into my conditioner when my hair is getting dry. I've never had a problem till now. What the hell is at the bottom of the bottle? It appeared randomly after I'd had the bottle awhile. (I store it in my shower and closed.)
I use this oil in my professional massage practice practice. It is unscented and has the perfect amount of glide and absorption. I usually mix it at a 2/3 ratio with 1/3 now foods avocado oil. Blends well with aromatherapy oils too. I'm happy to use this on my clients skin rather than a massage cream or oil that is formulated with chemicals. This one is pure and natural and will not do any harm to the bodies biggest organ (the skin). I never add extra oil to my clients face as I think any oil or cream could cause clogged pores. It is a natural and good solution for massage therapy oil.
Very happy with this purchase! What a versatile oil for the skin!! I use this along with 2 other oils to make a face serum. It absorbs quickly and does not leave my skin feeling heavy or oily. Sometimes I'll mix a small amount with a few drops of essential oils for use after the shower and voila!!!! I have moisturized glowing skin!!!! And what's not to love about the price ?!
So glad I bought this oil! it rubs in very nice and after a few minutes it’s soaked into the skin and your skin feels incredibly moisturized - not greasy . all the calluses & dry skin on my feet, arms and hands are completely gone - my arms were especially dry and scaly feeling- not anymore !!
I really love reading one of the user reviews where they added a grapefruit scented oil to the apricot oil which smells amazing!! would highly recommend this product for moisturizing your skin and your hair
