Love the Bay Rum scent. The scent of the hair wash is not Bay Rum but it is a masculine, neutral fragrance, so I'm sure it would pair well with any of the Grave Before Shave scents.
I have gone through about 5 cans of GBS beard balm in various scents. I had an issue with the beard balm in this particular order, it was grainy and required a lot of working/rubbing before application. I wrote to GBS about the issue, and the owner promptly responded that sometimes this can happen due to temperature changes during shipping and storage outside of their control. He suggested melting the balm down completely either in the oven or in a warm water bath. I followed his instructions and it worked great.
The great customer service and quality products will keep me coming to this brand! I always recommend GBS to fellow bearded gentlemen.
The beard shampoo did my beard WONDERS!! Softened it up and gave it a nice glisten even without oil or balm, even seems to thicken up quicker! The oil, feels VERY slick when you put it in your hand but doesnt leave an over slick beard after working it in. The balm isnt a glue consistancy and works in very well. The scent is subtle and not overpowering but still there.
Nice kit for the beginner. Our son loves his beard, and now everyone else does too. Since he's been using this product, he's gotten many compliments.
