The dispenser sucks, super old school dropper, not even in the same league as the dispenser of the Lather & Wood oil. Smells just a good as the other Clubman's products, which is why I bought it. I rub it in my palms or drop it directly on my shave soap which makes the soap just as good as any cream. Definitely would buy again.
I've used a lot (A LOT) of pre shave oils in the past few years, and while I eventually got onto Preraso, I on a whim decided to try Clubman's Pre-Shave Oil. It has a nice sweet lemony - like a clean lemon - smell to it, and you seriously only need 2-3 drops to cover your face (more if you have a lot of stubble or beard). It did the trick, and my face doesn't look like I cut it with a machete.
I like shaving oils--I have tried three brands, including this one, and they all work great. This is an excellent product at a very good price and has a nice scent. It's easy to use, the only minor downside is that the fairly large glass bottle and dropper are not convenient for travel. I might even try to fill up a smaller plastic empty drop bottle with some of this shaving oil just for travel. Would I get this product again or recommend it if everything stays the same (product and price)? I think the answer would be yes.
This stuff makes my shave very pleasant. The razor seems to glide effortlessly across my face now. It smells amazing too. I just have to be careful because it is so slick that it makes it difficult to grip everything with it on my hands: razor, faucet handle, etc. But the inconvenience of slick hands is a small price to pay for a pleasant shave!
I can honestly say I don't know how I survived before I descovered shave oil. A few drops in the palm, rub em together to warm the oil up massage it into the area you wish to shave. If you use soap and a brush add a drop or two to the soap as well. Razor burn is a thing of the past

Definitely helps for a closer shave without nearly the razor burn I normally experience. Actually I have shaved using just the oil and have gotten an excellent shave. Good price as well. I will add while the scent is good I don't think it has the classic Clubman scent.
I really like this product. It is not too thick yet provides a nice lubricant for my overly sensitive face. Like other Clubman Pinaud products it just works. And it isn't exceedingly expensive. Thanks again to the guys who have rapidly taken over most of my grooming needs.
Like the oil but the lid was compromised. I can’t screw it shut so it leaks. So no way to use for travel.
I had shaved for years without using shave oil. Now I know what I have been missing. Clubman is a good value and easily as good as shave oils twice and more the cost (I have tried a few over the past two years). .
It works better than anything I have tried, and smells great as well. Smooth, close, cut free shaving, absolutly amazing
