I normally use Leven Rose unscented Beard Oil, which seems to be Amazon's top selling Beard Oil, so the smell is staggering at first. When you apply, Assuage's Rosemary + Lavender oils can definitely be detected. But don't think Assuage smells like Ass Wash lol. Luckily, the smell wears off pretty quickly and what you're left with is a very slick Beard Oil that lubricates and nourishes even the coarsest of beards.
I think this Beard Oil seems just a little more viscous than Leven Rose, which is fine. Maybe because it lacks the Argan oil. The comb that comes with it looks like Tortoise Shell. But it won't be replacing my Kent beard comb though.
My Verdict: No Thumbs Down.
We love the beard oil. We haven't had enough time to see if it helps with growth, but I am sure it does, because of the types of oils in it. The bad part of it is the size of the comb. It's too small for my husband to control, die to nerve issues from his time in war.
After my shaving preparation and applying the oil,I feel nourished afterwards. There is a light natural scent initially when applied to skin.I felt a small amount of itch due to shaving but one I applied two drops all over the shaved area,that was a thing of the past.
I am not a big fan of facial hair - but this makes the beard a bit softer and it is not at all greasy! The smell is pleasant and not at all overpowering.
The recipient is totally enjoying the product!

Overall solid product thats worth the price. Good smell that isnt too strong and a couple of drops on your face is more than enough.

What a great product. I've tried other beard oils but really like this one better than the others. Keeps my beard tamed and looking great. It only takes a couple of drops to do the job right. It's nice that they include a comb with it too.
The Beard Oil Kit with Comb comes in a small package about the size of one's palm. This product has a strong lemon scent to it and is applied to the face through a dropper. Make sure to not use too much oil as just a couple of drops is more than enough to cover one's face. Overall, I like how the oil smells and feels when I used it, I will keep updating to see how well it soothes itchiness.

First off, this beard oil smells GREAT. The texture allows me to maintain my beard with ease. The provided comb is a nice touch. I will definitely get some more of this item!
Bought this for my husband who insists on growing out his beard. I'm not the biggest fan but at least with this beard its soft and not prickly. The oil smells really nice too!
