This may be a repeat of a prior review that mysteriously disappeared but I love this product so much I don't mind repeating myself. I have been searching for a product like this for a very long time and now that I own a tube I feel like I'm about to embark on a whole new adventure. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a penchant for a life less ordinary. Total game changer for sure.
This hand cream is one of the few scented products I use regularly. Often when a product uses sandalwood, it is done poorly and the sandalwood overpowers the other scents and the overall scent profile becomes too earthy with little warmth. The Tainted Love scent has light overtones of vanilla that give way to the warmth of sandalwood tempered by the orchid and white tea. This is what properly done scents with sandalwood should smell like. I would caution people with sensitive noses that the scent is somewhat strong at first, but lessens after absorption. In addition, the scent lasts on your hands a very long time. I have used this hand cream at night, and my hands are still lightly scented by morning.
However, where I removed a star came from its use as a moisturizing hand cream. The product does leave your hands feeling wonderfully soft when you first put it on. Around 30-40 minutes later with minimal activity, that feeling disappears, leaving your hands feeling better than before, but not as well moisturized as other, more long-lasting hand creams.
Overall, I enjoy this hand cream a lot. It absorbs quickly, does a decent job moisturizing lightly dry hands, and has a wonderful warm scent. However, the moisturized feeling does not last long and the scent seems overpowering at first.
i bought this for my mom on mothersday, shipped fast and came in such a cute packaging, the product is closed so you need a sharp knife or a screw to pop it open because the cap doesn't come with a punch, but it's not a big deal because it doesn't need much pressure. The scent itself is pretty strong at first, when she put it on i could smell it across the room, but it isn't overpowering. It's this vanilla scent and when the vanilla fades you get all the heavy undertones that mix and just smells so much more lovely and complex than surgery or powdery vanilla scents.
I had ordered several different Tokyo Milk creams & sprays. There are only 2 that I like and one of them is this Crushed cream. The fragrance is good but I don't know how to explain it, so really it's just my personal opinion with no real description on what I think the scent smells like. I just know that it's pleasant and clean IMO. (the only other one I like is their Lotus Sake)
I've always loved Tokyo milk products. Unfortunately there is no place in my city to purchase it. I'm very happy to have found it here. The scent is the right balance of masculine and soft, and the lotion feels great. Both the feel and the scent have pretty good longevity. I can feel the smoothness in my skin and catch the fragrance several hours later. Shipping was prompt and well packaged. Overall no complaints. Thank you.

I'm a guy and I tried this in a store when I was shopping with my wife. It looked masculine enough for me (Black tube and guns, c'mon) and all the hand lotion I've used in the past left my hands feeling greasy and smelling like fruity flowers. This hand cream has a light scent and is not oily at all, way better than any cheap hand lotion I've used before. I was sold and I bought one for the office and one for the house. Now I just have to keep my wife from stealing it cause she loves it too!
I got a tube of this from a friend a while ago and it became my go-to handcream. I love the packaging and it smells amazing. I decided to buy this for my Aunt for Christmas and she fell in love too. If you're into great looking products that are actually really great at what they do, look no further!
