Ok, it stinks that you have to dye your hair. It's especially problematic if you have short hair that requires a new cut every 2-3 weeks. Hair dye is just a pain and you waste so much of the product. Well, this particular product is perfect for my situation. There is no mixing and the product is not a runny liquid. It comes out of a gel like toothpaste. So what that means is I'm able to only use a small amount and I've got the color that I need for my entire head. I then squeeze out any air pockets, place a plastic (saran wrap) on top of the tube's top, and screw the top back on. This keeps the product fairly air tight for use 2-3 weeks later. I've managed to get 2-3 more uses out of a single tube. This finally makes hair dying affordable in my specific situation.
Very satisfied.
I used this product to dye my eyebrows. They were never too blonde but as you can see in the first picture even with product on them they looked a bit too light in the sunlight. so I decided to pick a dye a shade darker than my hair vecayse I wanted subtly bolder brows and it was perfect! I did a test patch on my leg at first and all it did was stain my skin. I decided to go for it anyway and it turned out perfect. The second photo I have no product on, haven’t plucked or reshaped them from the first photo. Makes your brows look GREAT. Highly recommend.
First thing I have to say about this product is PAY ATTENTION when people say go for a lighter color than you think your hair is. I went medium brown at first and had multiple staring at me asking what changed. So I went with light brown and it was not obvious I had dyed my hair anymore.
Secondly...this product does not erase all grey hair. It gets rid of most of it...but I found particularly at the roots near the sideburns I just can't get it to completely block out the grey no matter how much I smear in. I leave it in longer than the 15 recommended minutes too. Usually 30 mins to an hour.
That being said it does make a significant difference and people not longer can call me out for going grey.
YOU CAN REUSE THIS PRODUCT. The manufacturer is lying to get you to buy more when they say one time use. After applying to your grey areas squeeze the tube so that the product comes to the lip of the tube and then recap tightly. I keep mine in the fridge but I don't know if this is necessary. I've also just recapped and kept in a drawer and it seemed to work fine. After recapping take the applicator tip and blow all the excess product out in to the sink (or in your hand). At first I was getting rid of it then I realized it was a waste so I put on one of the two included applicator gloves and used the excess that comes out to smear around other areas of my head. Then flush water through the applicator tip several times and blow it out. This prevents it from being clogged so you can reuse it.
The product works on oxidation so it is key to make sure the bottle is squeezed to the top when you recap and that you get as much product out of the applicator tip when you are done. If you do this you can re-use this product 3-4 times depending on how much you use each time. I find the color starts fading around 2-3 weeks and usually at that point do another application.
As I mentioned earlier it won't get rid of ALL the grey hair but it certainly hides big white patches that I have on the sides of my head. So...to recap...go with a step lighter than you think you need. Follow my instructions for re-use and you can save yourself blowing 8 bucks every 2-3 weeks just to keep your hair darker.
All that said it's a good product. It doesn't stain the skin badly....after I apply I use a DRY tissue paper to wipe back/away all the excess that gets on my forehead and ears. I also don't use shampoo for my first shower afterwards....I just rinse really well with water to allow it to sink in longer. I would recommend this as well for a better initial coloring. And make sure to get a color safe shampoo. It's hard to find one made specifically for men but I was able to find one at Walmart that appeared at least somewhat gender neutral and affordable.
The product does a very good job removing the grey hairs from your hair. It does a very amazing job going down to the roots and getting the grey away. It is beyond easy to apply and after 10 minutes it comes off like a breeze. People do complain about leaving a smell behind after using this but it's a simple fix to fix this. What I did was use good conditioner and leave it on for 20 or so minutes and wash it off and blow dry the hair and the smell goes away. Overall 5/5 and will buy more of this product.
I'm 37, been getting grays for a while, while most people would "compliment" them as making me look "distinguished".
But let's face it, it does make us look older and, maybe even feel it if everyone thinks your older than you are.
Long story short, not even my wife noticed at first, but I did. I felt younger, plus I would have to hear any more diatribes about "going gray, better than going bald"

I am a female and use this for my grays that are along forehead and temple areas. Very easy to use and color choices are good. I have black Asian hair and dark brown does the trick as I don't want to use a darker color that will come out darker than my natural hair color which is dark black/brown. I also use to touch up my hubby hair in between colorings which we also use Just For Men product.
Been using this product off and on for over a year now, and went back and forth as to how much I like it. In the end, it's good enough for me to keep using, as it's lack of overall effectiveness is offset by the overriding convenience factor. First of all, it doesn't work as well as the original formula Just for Men. That's conclusive and there's no doubt about it. However, the original formula is very messy, as it's very liquify and splashes all over. You've got to really line your sink and walls with newspaper because it definitely stains most surfaces. You also have to use vaseline or lotion on your face to make sure it doesn't run and stain your skin for a few days. Secondly, if you have short hair like me, even if you soak your head entirely with the product, you still only use about half the product, which simply feels wasteful.
This product is thick, like toothpaste, and is easily applicable. I use a fine barbershop style comb, apply the dye to the comb, and comb it through my hair. It works much better than the included brush/comb attachment. This product's best attribute is that it doesn't splash at all. I don't have to line my sink, nor do you really have to put lotion or vaseline on your ears or forehead to prevent staining - it just doesn't run. Use a pair of gloves and that's it. Also, if you have short hair like I do, this product will last a few applications. I can usually get 3 applications per tube - just squeeze out all the air and close the cap tight. I wonder if the product does lose some effectiveness by the third application (which for me is about 7-9 weeks or so later), but it still works.
Bottom line of the effectiveness of the dye? Like I said, it doesn't work as well as the original formula. It has a hard time catching short hairs. Even after I apply it liberally, many of my shorter hairs on the sides of my head I realize aren't dyed after I get out of the shower. They were fully covered in dye before and looked great. I don't even bother trying to dye my hair after a fresh hair cut anymore, as it's simply too short (a 1 clip). If i need my hair dyed right after a haircut, I'll dye it right before. Otherwise, I wait about a week. With the longer hair on the top of my hair though , it does a satisfactory job. Just get it in thoroughly, and let it sit for a minimum of 10 minutes.
Overall, 3 stars for the actual effectiveness of the dye as it struggles with shorter hair and just generally washes out faster than the original formula (granted i wash my hair at least once a day), and 4 stars because of the convenience factor - which for me, given how often I cut my hair, makes this a solid product. Hopefully Just for Men will improve the effectiveness of it over time.
My eyebrows are so blonde they are basically white. I used to pay a salon $20+ twice a month to have them tinted to avoid having to color them in everyday until I found this MIRACLE. You don’t have to mix anything you just squeeze out a tiny dollop & use a brow brush to paint the dye on, leave on for 10-15 minutes and blammo: perfect better than you get at the salon eyebrows. Doesn’t get more natural looking than dark blonde but I’ve also used light brown for a more dramatic look in the winter. One tube has lasted me almost a year so this 8 dollar product has saved me $480 this year & that doesn’t even include the cost of makeup I don’t have to buy anymore either. #WINNING
I've been using JFM products for about a decade & this is one of their best! The color is very natural & shows no orange, even under sunlight. The only drawbacks are that it: doesn't last as long as their standard two-part dye, it doesn't like to cover the tough grays at my sideburns/temples & the tubes don't go as far as their original formula. Those points noted, its basically idiot proof & gives almost perfect results. If they could only make it a bit more permanent & able to cover the tough spots it would be perfect.
My dad likes it because of the little comb, so it helps to apply the color evenly. Also this shade of Black is looking very natural. I have purchased 7 or 8 of these to give to my relatives.
