Really liking the Clubman line recently. I had been a Nexxus shampoo fan boy for decades. Recently ordered the Clubman powder and really liked the classic fragrance compared to typical baby powder. I expanded my venture into the Clubman line with their Hair Tonic (also liked it) and the shampoo.
The shampoo is pretty basic - but clean rinsing and leaves a nice fragrance behind. Totally not a 'boutique fragrance'. It's a smell many men will be familiar with. Clubman products are legend - perhaps a legend sadly lost on the newer soy boy generation. If you want a good, nice fragrance shampoo that's a throwback to a time when men didn't apologize for being men, then give this shampoo a try.
This shampoo is just like what old time barbers would use to shampoo your hair, if they actually did shampoo your hair back in the good old days. Instead they would most likely just add some more oil to the grease already on your head. But with this shampoo you can re-live those golden days the way they should have been, not as they really were. That in itself is a wonderful thing! I love the smell of this stuff!
Ive only owned 1 bottle prior to my order.
This stuff Is highly concentrated and a quarter size amount works for me, and I have a head of thick hair !
The smell of it is what you've come to expect of Clubman !
I do wish they would go back to the old containers though and then I could die a happy man !!!
Very, very good shampoo with a pleasant but not overpowering scent. The shampoo does not leave a film but cleans the hair and scalp very, very well. No dry scalp or hair afterwards. Price is reasonable for two containers. Each one lasts several months since a teaspoonful or so is adequate, when I do both prewash and wash.
Loving it so far, great scent, lathers easily and leaves hair feeling clean and thick

I’ve always loved the scent of Clubman. It reminded me of both my father and grandfather’s medicine cabinets. Always used to steal some so I’d smell like them. Now here I am, using the same scent for the past 20+ yrs. My only criticism is that the scent doesn’t seem to last more than a few hours. I wish it carried the day like some of the fancy high dollar colognes. No matter, I’ll continue to use it as my everyday cologne.
Works well. I really enjoy the old-school scent. I also like my hair "squeaky clean" and this does exactly that. I actually ordered 2 more bottles.
Wow this took my back to days I worked at the country club as a kid. I was Red Oaks before Red Oaks , nookay? Clean, masculine scent to this product line. Shampoo does the job. I use it for the pre-sleep shower and go to bed smelling pretty darn good.
It cleans your hair, and smells like something other than perfume and flowers. And as an added bonus, that smell is classic and smells like you're showering in an old fashioned barber shop.
This shampoo is great...smells great...rinses great...cleans great....price is great.....!!!
